  1. Bang on with the date... Oyster is a great bracelet...and since it's got lugholes () swapping between an Oyster, Jubilee, and croc strap is no problem at all! 5506 is nice and the 1530s (indeed, most of the 15xx series) is/are great movements. Pricing on these is somewhat higher than a comparable vintage Omega Constellation (and, quite honestly, I love the 564 movement- in house Omega ) but, I agree, still reasonable- especially in this market (I picked this up for a song).
  2. It's a beauty!
  3. Better photos coming Tuesday ... aftermarket bracelet obviously but I've got a Jubilee band, another gen clasp and vintage red leather "Montres Rolex S.A." box on the way to complete the latest package Calibre 1560 for those interested...you'll have movement shots too
  4. Love the PAM on mesh...
  5. $1,500? You'd better take it or I will...
  6. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! The Seamaster is def. my favorite modern watch with the Vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Chronometer (no date) and Vintage Omega Constellation 564 being tied for my two fav. vintages...wear them well!
  7. Grahams look like you're compensating...sorry... I think the C1 is a classier piece but the Grahams are nice enough in their own regard..can't get over the damn trigger though...yikes
  8. Yeah...just don't trust the cartel lol... the 28xx series, after servicing or regulation, is generally within +1-2 secs. per day for me..
  9. I think SINN has one with some sort of synthetic liquid also... crazy depth rating!!!
  10. Damn... as others have said: hopefully things will work out for the best.. get the VP's home address...sneek in while he's at work (bang his wife if you can) and swap his Rolex with a cheap rep
  11. I've had this happen to me- Paypal won't release the funds until pos. feedback OR 21 days after item is delivered (you give them the tracking number using the shipping widget). Only had it when I sold something for like $3,200 and it must have pegged a high dollar sale...
  12. Yeah that's what happens to watches in Nanuq's safe!
  13. Very nice...beautiful movement
  14. Why produce a perfect rep? It dries out the market! If they produced a perfect "1:1" DSSD they could't have sold as many (early adopters picked up the V1, V2...what are we up to now? V5? V6?)
  15. Agreed..if this was mass produced and sold for $100-200 it'd fly off the shelves... Bravo- great tutorial and an amazing write-up!
  16. Love it...great movie!
  17. LOVE GMT watches- very convenient on business/ pleasure trips- i'm comforted knowing my home time
  18. Concur, I say gen but a movement shot is always a plus
  19. Delicious!
  20. That looks awesome- Robbie should get a Rhodium-Plated one to match his DateJust
  21. Agreed on that one! Looks like it was an amazing time!
  22. Ohhh that cannon pin hurts to look at...that'll need to be replaced plus a relume and then don't take it off your wrist as the movement's a giveaway but it's not a bad watch
