  1. I'd post one but I'm afraid vbarrett would stalk me. I'm fine and I wear nice watches.
  2. When I was a boy, I had a Mickey Mouse Timex. I used to wear it during bath time and pretend I was the sharkman of the delta. I miss that watch....
  3. I just need the holiday! We're heading down to Miami this weekend for a wedding and while my wife and daughter are packed (in the largest suitcase we have I might add) I'm still trying to decide which watches I will wear/take! Gotta get the important things out of the way first.
  4. Is that a good or bad thing? I'm wondering if it came out of my watch.
  5. @watchbuff First of all, come pick me up. I've never been in a helicopter. Seriously though, I am pretty much the opposite. My father has a fine collection of watches and some have been given to me already with the understanding they will all be mines one day. My sisters have no use for them and my brother is more interested in the cars. So far I have a couple of gen rollies and the tungsten carbide Movado. Because of the sentimental value I rarely wear them except for special occasions. I keep them locked up and when I travel like this coming weekend to Miami, I will only stay in hotels that either have a safe in the room or can give me access to a safe. So with that being said I have a rep sub and DD which I wear on a regular basis. I would be distraught if something happened to the gens, I watched my father work my entire childhood away to "make" it.
  6. Any Omega AD (Authorized Dealer) should be able to help you. I'm partial to Jared myself.
  7. Upon further review, the watches on that site are shitty. Sorry admins for my french, but see for yourself. Check the PO for starters.
  8. More than likely NOT. If you take the chance let us know how it works out. Most people have landed here on the forums after being bent over by sites like those.
  9. Yes that is the correct one. I believe the 42mm and 45mm use the same crown/tube. Note on ofrei that it references case 168.1652. That is for the the 45mm.
  10. I'd like to know the same thing. I'd like to get a gen for my MBK. Look around the bay.
  11. Sounds like it might be time for the gen crown/tube.
  12. Yes that 111h on SS is hot. After your holiday kindly send it to me overnight at your expense and I'll wear it about. It's the least I can do for a friend! Seriously though, have a safe trip and be safe.
  13. Say it ain't so!
  14. You rock V. I don't care what they say about you when you're gone.
  15. The big giveaway is the serial no. ALL UPO's have 816880298 as the serial. I doubt this guy has the real 816880298
  16. looking good!
  17. Happy Birthday!!!! And many more!
  18. Not from ofrei.com
  19. I got him this morning, EST which was evening in Thailand. He's always out looking at watches. He doesn't drop ship so we can't expect him to always be in front of the computer. I think with skype you can leave a chat even if they aren't logged on.
  20. Since you're so busy can I ride the Ducati? Great job.
  21. I'm really not sure...but apparently big. Most watches I buy I usually have to remove one link. This watch and my ESQ's, I can wear right out the box. I'd say 8.5" or in that range.
  22. They build 12 private suites with double beds on that monster of an airplane, charge you the price of a small used car, give you champagne like it's water then ask you not to join the mile high club?!?! Private suite, double bed, alcohol galore, is there a better setup? hxxp://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21560120/from/RS.1/
  23. Well it was only literally a few dollars for the he valve. And since I had already spent WAY more than the watch costs I figured what the heck? I may have to use it one day! You're right though, definite must on the gen crown and tube.
  24. It brings tears (of joy) to mine eyes.
  25. Got another response from Silix, the pics should be published later today or tomorrow. He said it is the version with the "12" and the "6", not the one with all the numbers on the dial. Not sure about the DW but I'm sure they're just taking the current watch and adding AR which means the DW is still screwed.
