  1. I usually like the ALS watches...but this one is just paying money for being iced-out. It's a nice tourby of course...but I think it's all about the diamonds...not as interesting a design IMHO. Hefty price tag. Yikes.
  2. Between 30-50 winds usually. You'll feel it getting ready to stop.
  3. Welcome aboard Chiman...noticed you posted on the Lani raffle. Awesome...
  4. I actually like the orange bezelled newly released one. I saw it at the AD it was really quite striking. A lot of these things don't seem so hot until you get them in your hands and see how the light plays off the thing, the scale...all that.
  5. Boot to the head. Hey Dluddy...more posts than Victoria??? Say it isn't so...
  6. Stallone? Cheap Date? Spice? Gotta be... Old Spice!!
  7. I think for the money, I would go for the DSSD Lite from Andrew/Josh or similar. It costs 2x as much at around $128 + shipping, but has the ceramic, better datefont, proper bracelet, Ti caseback, blue lume, etc. As TJ said, as a watch on its own, it is fine for the basic design. It misses out on a lot of the small details that make a higher end rep...but, at the price, high accuracy can't be expected. If you're looking for something that is close to a gen, the Lite version at 2x the price I think would be better value.
  8. I've always thought the Flat 6 had one of the sexiest rotor designs around. That datewheel font is awesome as well. Great piece Lani.
  9. Read my Omega SMP Chrono review in my sig for details on the crown/tube mod with part numbers.
  10. ...and with increased post count comes fame and fortune... ...Oh...Love you long long time.
  11. I agree...it is a nice piece...the debate for me, is, "is it the NEXT piece??".
  12. I know I'm waiting for a better set. Thanks Offshore.
