She was one of the reasons that I gravitated to RWG rather than the other forums ( and the grading system) , she was very helpful and considerate to me as a newb. It was good to have a strong female character amongst all us guys and it was a sad day when she left, I got the feeling that she'd had one too many abusive PM's and had enough. The place is defiantly less colorful with out her posts.
As the Rep strap was so bad, it split and the inner cardboard could be seen so I needed a quick fix. Black Croc does the trick but still on the look out for something different.
If there was one ferrai I'd like in my collection it would be this one.
The Ferrari range of replicas have always been considered some of the best out of the box PAMs.
There was a cracking review of this over on RG when this first came , try and look it up.
Mate if you like go for it and don't forget to post some pictures when you do.

Dial should be easy enough, but the hands may require dome work.
Not sure if oem hands fit a7750 movement.
But do you really need to invest the $$$ in a gen dial its an expensivr upgrade.
May be easier to get one of the resident lumers work on the dial and give it the desired effect.
It looks a nice piece where did you pick that up from

I've recently acquired a BP5004 the grey dialled version. After eslix's posts of his pair of BP I'd had enough of sitting on the fence and look the plunge and I'm jolly glad I did. I seem to be pulling it off even with my puny wrists.
My hesitation was always supported by my dislike of Pilot straps. There I've said it..... I know it may be sacrilege to some but I justdon't get the rivets thing. What's that all about really?
Maybe I've been spoilt by the multitude of options in the strap area that Panerai can provide, but I'm have real difficulties coming up with strap alternatives for BPs that are not pilot straps.
I'm not flash with the cash right so a custom job from HK ain't an option.
I've found these from the watch boys they are a very good price but I'm concerned that the thickness or the lack of will not be a good look on the BP. The pilot strap is a good 5-6mm at the lug end and this one looks less than half that and wonder if this will look silly.
So I was hoping that someone could post pictures on their BPs on non Pilot straps and let me know the source if possible.
I appreciate that this could evoke the wrath of the Pilot rivet diehards but I'd really appreciate some suggestions.
Cheers

Ok its a BIG birds watch, but its still a birds watch. But I guess its a case of don't knock it till you try it.
Be good to hear how the AD trip goes Ubi
I saw a guy wearing one the other day, I think it was a two tone version.
It was much larger than I expected and had some presence about.
But its not something I could see myself wearing. Its too smooth and curvy.
I'd goes as far to say its a Ladies watch.
Saw a guy with one of these on today , A most amusing watch indeed
They even do a TT version, I think just might be a new Grail watch for me.
If anyone has one , post up a wristi please

I kind of thought there might be a connection within the RWG communityt.
Though I appreciate the work and the level of detail that's goes into the engraved versions they are a bit pricey for me.
I am very tempted though by the more affordable versions.
Avitt do you have one?
Who'd of though my Antipodeans neighbours could even tellthe time let alone build a watch but low an behold these tasty morsels.
Definite Panerai and Anonimo influence and basic (cheap) movementsbut nice styling overall and hats off for setting up a new brand.
What do you guys think? Magrette
