  1. Bagic1 only time will tell and by all accounts there will be little any of us can do regardless. The Planet X thing is interesting , but the behind the sun things just doesn't make sense to me. The Orbit of Pluto is similarly elliptical its interesting that it is supposed to take 180 years to orbit the sun and now less than half that time has passed since its discovery and its now been declassified I wonder if it will actually end up orbiting the sun and not just disappear . I think around Sept 2010 some interesting things will take place weather planet X has any bearing on that remains to be seen. I suppose its a good excuse to buy more watches , now where is that credit card ...........................
  2. That really is the King of bezels , pretty cool bit of electronic history you've got there
  3. Its OK not great though. Movement is for E series but dial looks H series Sandwich, but the movement does look nice. Thing is with the Ti's these day is the crowns I think they may well be steel and not the greatest. You may want to get a Ti T crown if you can strech the funds. If you can get free postage then its okish $ otherwise check some of the other dealers you Might get a better price. I think most Ti are pretty much mid range on the quality front and around the same price as that. Best would be a 177H from DSN but I think it would be twice as much. So this is a good start.
  4. Have a look on RG there was a great post on there. As with all the ferrari PAMs they are cracking Reps. I'm surprised no one has got one here. If I could afford the $$$ right now this would be the one I'd get for sure. ST4
  5. These photograph so well, they really are an awesome watch to have, wouldn't spend 10 grand on a Gen mind you. Your photos make me miss the one I had, never had a watch that got more attention than my Big Bang. Thanks for sharing. ST4
  6. The one I had (regretfully sold) the screws in the back worked. Mine was a flat backed version, is yours the raised chrono style as these may be different Sounds as if yours is different. Sorry not to be able to help more. ST4
  7. One sweet looking watch and some cracking pictures. Wear it well ST4
  8. Good grief Tanfo that's awesome, I'm both gob smacked and inspired. Keep up the good worK there ST4
  9. Very Nice indeed, not sure the maxi is needed though ST4
  10. Thanks for taking the time to put this together, really great stuff ST4
  11. Go for it Dude Changing Jobs/Careers is one of the things your 20's are for , you should set your self a time line though ( Now I'm sounding really old) like 5 years and give it your best shot , then reevaluate where your at and see if you want to carry on or make a change again, Are you Gen Y or Gen I ? I just cant keep up these days, either one isn't supposed to worry too much about long term careers. I've had 3 or 4 distinctly different career paths and I'm Gen X You so don't want to be in a office at your age get out an explore a bit.
  12. Dude I feel you pain , sounds like its been a miserable day all round , it will get better.............. As for the Crown , bit a name and shame might be required on the dealer because thats very poor form indeed hope it works out. ST4
  13. http://www.revolutio...ON-VOL5_IWC.pdf Here is an old article from Revolution Mag "Ruling the Skies" Sure some have you will have seen it already but it may be of interest to others. It has some cracking photos ST4
  14. Thats right good value despite the back, I've always hankered after the ceramic http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30_192&products_id=3854 version after seeing one at an AD
  15. That Vegas is one mighty fine moody looking watch, the strap looks really good Nice bunch
  16. I agree that the wall clocks are just silly $$$. But this is actually quite a complex piece of kit. So I think its cost price may well be a bit more than what your suggesting fellas. This does quite a nice panerai dial at the bottom it will be interesting to see if that's 44mm or bigger. I'd also hope that it not stuck on 2009 as we are nearly at 2010. I can't see the flip line in the middle of the date numerials. Many things are overpriced Gen watches especially but that doesn't stop people buying them. I have a feeling this might become quite a collectors item in a few years or so and we'd wish we had bought one when we could.
