Which would give you LESS trouble, A rep watch, or one of these beauties ?

Those ss bracelets are so comfortable to wear , that you don`t know they are there, especially when they warm up to body temperature. Also, they don`t show any wear marks, or light scratches. A great alternative, especially in warm summers.

Would love to be able to say " Switzerland ", but alas, at that price it was made in China.

Wanted something different from sportswatches, chrono`s ,aviator, etc. I like the skeleton watches ( also clocks ), not for legibility ( as almost all skeletons are hard to read the time ), But for being able to see the movement running. Something not too big, but different in shape , so decided on this, its a manual wind, saphire crystal, maybe someone can fill in, on the movement details. The corner silver spandrels , front and back are quite convincing. Also, when it eventually dies , I will be able to dismantle it , `cos I can see where everything goes !! Not everybodies cup of tea, but you must admit , it`s a bit different from the run of the mill stuff. Strap looks like plastic, feels like plastic, smells like plastic and is, in actual fact .......plastic. Not a pocket drainer , from Watchmark again. No name or brand anywhere on the front ( only the back ) Patek Philippe Geneve. Just to show that you can see right through. ( Just like on a real Skeleton ! )

Move the lever with the 2 brass pins in it, TOWARDS the other, This has the effect of lengthening the hairspring, thus slowing the time. The other lever ( with the screw in it ) anchors the hairspring. Not much , start with half mm. Unless you have a timing machine it is going to be trail and error. Hope this helps.

I must say that at 46 mm. it sounds large, but in actual fact sits on the wrist perfectly, I have a smallish wrist at 6 3/4 . Wrist shot and pics added.

That is exactly what I said. Doesn`t matter how rare, or "available "anything is, forget any "critical" issues, I`ve got it, .........how much are you willing to pay? Everything and anything is available ,............for a price.

This comment, above, in my opinion ,would win any competition , if asked to describe your thoughts , in 25 words or less, when contemplating buying this watch. Resistance is futile.

The usual Aus. mail courier has just delivered my watch, YES on a Saturday. He had trouble with his brakes and was held up most of yesterday. ( That is Gods honest truth .) The box-set was pretty good , and I have just made an adjustment to the leather deployant strap, curving the ss deployant a little more to my wrist form. The actual leather is fairly soft and shouldn`t take much time to "break in " . The ss is very hard to change form ( curve ). AR is pretty good and I would be very surprised if it could be improved on. This watch has allready been reviewed and documented, so I will leave it at that, and just share the pics. with you. The watch, Swiss ETA,2824, and box-set was supplied by Watchmark, at a very competitive price, flawless transaction,5 days from start to finish, and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

I feel that your first sentence sums it up, allways look at the full picture. Sorry if it brought back bad memories when dealing with highly strung people.

As far as Victoria is concerned Monday March 10th 2008 is Labour Day. Not sure about Sydney, or the rest of Oz. Why do I have a sneaking suspicion that "new dealer" watchmark is not so ... "new"?
