statikman Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Oddly enough, 15 years ago I used to get a lot with a "gold" Canal Street DJ. "Sure it's real baby, see how the hand sweeps?" Until very recently my Panerais have gone unnoticed but I got tons of compliments from female clients on my Diesels and Nixons a couple of years ago.
cdigi Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 I always catch chicks eye-balling my MM20 here in LALA-LAnd.

Polynomial Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 A tiger daytona will do the trick (well if attention is all you are after). They migh also check out your suit and car, if this does not match your golden DJ the conclusion might be -- fake.
Wolf Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Its not often that my watches (not me) get attention from the ladies, but when I do, its usually my PAM. "Oh my God thats a huge watch!"
Dario33 Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 My Pam 111 gets the most female attention. Just this weekend I was out on Saturday night and this gal comes up to me and starts asking me questions about my watch. She probably didn't care what the answers were, but it was a an excuse for her to approach me.
SF_Mike Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 My Sub gets the most attention of my reps, but not a ton, PAM has only been noticed a few times, but it gets great compliments. If you can believe it, the most attention I get from a watch by far is from a Diesel watch I got as a gift a while back. Most of the Girls I am around are in the 25-30 range and don't seem to know much about watches, but may recognize Rolex because their dad has one. Here's the Diesel
jonthebhoy Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 My infeasibly large Le Plongeur always does the trick for me! JTB
jkerouac Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 My infeasibly large Le Plongeur always does the trick for me! JTB I can just imagine you, jtb: "Excuse me miss, would you like to see my Plongeur? Perhaps you would like to handle my Plongueur as well?? It takes a licking and keeps on ticking." Just be careful the boyfriend is not in the vicinity.
M5Man Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 My Gen Breitling Cosmonaute - 18k and SS with 2 tone band - very flashy.
Guest TTK Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 (edited) This one......they think 'classy watch....classy guy'......it's BIG.....it's GOLD.....and it's now on a brown snakeskin strap..... Edited March 20, 2006 by TTK

jonthebhoy Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Oh I don't know.......our good friend Tino looked after me!
KB Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Heeyy just forget it, my wife catches a girl oogling anything of my and its lights out bucko. Ken
jkerouac Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Ken, I was going to say that the woman who notices my watches the most is my wife -- as in, "Is that ANOTHER new watch? How many do you have now?" The solution is to not let her see them for the first month or so. Then I can respond, "No, I've had this one for a while now."
Skyler Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Ken, I was going to say that the woman who notices my watches the most is my wife -- as in, "Is that ANOTHER new watch? How many do you have now?" The solution is to not let her see them for the first month or so. Then I can respond, "No, I've had this one for a while now." EXACTLY! Now that Summer is coming, I'm going to be in deep $hit with my short sleeves!
coascender Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 My bigger watches get noticed the most. PAMs get some attention but definitely my orange PO.
miquel Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 @ jkerouac ... I agree 100% with you. Except, my wife always checks MC statement at end of the month No one really notices my watches...I wear them under my sleeves.
Josetann Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 My Glycine Airman 7 gets noticed the most, probably because of its sheer size (bigger than any Panerai I've seen). Never had anyone comment on any of my others. My wife loves the Vacheron Constantine Retrograde Perpetual Calender (hope I spelled everything right) simply because she knows I have a picture of us in the back.
emuozz Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 My TT omega constellation gets the most female attention, and as you know this is normal size watch 36 mm.
