Some work on my Comex 1665 today....

some work to age my SD 1665 Comex today, toasted dial to age markers, trimmed cg, poped out the pearl, and now waitinf for a new bezel.... And I need 2 x 585 enlinks, if someone got them, let me know ;)

What temp and duration did you put the dial into the oven for? I've messed up (bubbled) a few dials, and want to find a happy medium or benchmark to use as a guide to toasting the dial.

did you do anything to the caseback?

Looks sweet!

just put it under a simple 50watt light, I would say around 5cm from it, and it took around 15 minutes... But, have a look each 3 minutes because it's long to begin to toast but when it comes darker it's fast.... Nothing done to the caseback yet...

You are lucky, your rehaut looks like the gen watch, those from Josh are to high and need to be reduced... but on the nother side, they have the correct silver date wheel

That's one of the very few COMEX I have seen with an "O" that's sorta squared off on the inside. Most miss that detail. Very nice indeed! :tu:
