Hello folks. Sorry I have been away for some time. Lost my job, and been dealing with all the crap that goes with being out of work.

My email has been hit or miss and in general, I really haven't wanted to crawl out from under my rock.

To top things off, I spent Christmas in the emergency room with my 10 year old who had her appendix removed.

Yeah, life pretty much sucks.....but it's justasgood as the Lord deems.

BTW, I have been working with my watchmaker as an apprentice of sorts. (I have been working on watched for 14 years at the least). It doesn't pay much but at least I still get to fondle watches :-)

Happy holidays to all and blessings for a very safe and Happy New Year!

K

Kurt, that sux and having been there myself in the past several years I can totally empathize with you. In my case I totally switched career fields (from IT to machining) which probably indirectly led me to this hobby.

Hi Kurt.

Life sucks indeed but only from time to time.

Health and money is like almost everything else in life: cycles.

I wish the next good one will happen for you and yours a.s.a.p.

In the meantime, I'm pretty sure there is a bunch of fellows here who would like to help.

If there is anything we can do, let us know please.

All the best,

Stephane

With my two buddies here who have great reputations there is no question about your ability and honesty. But for people that haven't been around, we should point out that behind the scenes, you of course check off with admin before offering services. We don't want anyone to think that the rules apply to everyone and obviously, not just everyone can come and offer services without being checked out.

After that PSA - carry on :)

P.s. Wish I had watch skills :) you have a good idea, maybe I can go to my watch guy and apprentice.
