triplehd
Looks very nice. Maybe this will be the last version of the POs or maybe not. If so, atleast the watch looks a whole lot better than previous versions.

bigpops
Erm............................. I have 3 Planet Oceans already (2 ETA 42.5mms (bracelet and leather) and a 45mm asian on rubber), but i think i have to have this one. Not sure what colour to go for. I have all the colours in my current collection, put i can't pick a favourite. This one's so good, i might even splash out on an oem strap. fotoman
i'm no omega expert but, i've been looking for this watch and dammit, it is better. the dial looks really good. i want the orange crock. i contacted hktan who can make a kick ass version. bob has some breitling organge crock straps that are 22-18 for deployant. the 18 is a bit small and the damn gen omega deployants are like 200 bucks. you can get a gen omega buckle for like 30 bucks ;( http://www.globalwatchband.com/items.php?group=56 has a cool black strap with orange stitch hmm, rubber wtih orange stitch bob wish they made this in a 22, they don't

mezzanine
I wish that there was a 'perfect' 42mm Planet Ocean in the pipeline. I guess the 4th gen is as good as it will get. The gap in the bracelet between the endlink and the first link is a probable deal-killer for me. Looks like the logo and logo placement are better on this version, vs. the 42mm 4th generation. My kingdom for good AR. Especially on this watch- it's a straight give away. The other flaws to me are secondary and liveable, if there was good AR on this, I would buy two. I bet you everyone would gladly pay an extra $30 bucks on each potential purpose if it meant good AR. I truly believe it's the next significant step. chris5264
this looks perfect,,,,,,damn,,,I just got the older version two weeks ago. Now what?????
r11co
On the pics it even looks like a thinner caseback. Made possible because they've gone to the 2824 movement which is thinner than the previously (inappropriately) used 2836.
www_watch
Made possible because they've gone to the 2824 movement which is thinner than the previously (inappropriately) used 2836. A fact I didn't notice so far... yes, they say it's 2824. But after looking at those new pics for so long now it seems that the previous version had a nicer crown. mezzanine
So is this the same watch that Flavor Flav reviewed, except with the replacement dial? Or did his come with the 2836 movement as well? Also, is this supposed to have better AR than the previous generations of Planet Oceans? It seems we hear that about each new rep, but then it's always *light* AR. The 42mm version would be a better fit for my small wrists, but if this version is truly the best version- and there isn't going to be a correspond upgraded 42mm version- then I might just go with this one. Doesn't look like there's going to be a rubber strap option on this.
www_watch
@ mezzanine From the comparison shots you may see in his review that his PO has the beefier case back. So that should be the 2836-powered.
Devedander
I so hope a good casino royale version comes out... This looks very promising and it would seem the CR would follow naturally...
chad
Keep letting your dealers know about the 22mm rubber strap for this watch!!!! email them and show them there is a demand.. chris5264
I so hope a good casino royale version comes out... I know it is kind of silly,,,,but I already have the money put aside for this one. I think the 007 seconds hand is very cool. Not that a real secret agent would ever have anything close to this, but hey,,,,none of this stuff is real anyway....
By-Tor
I always wanted a black PO to keep company to my orange... and this watch looks like a perfect excuse to get one. I'm usually not too crazy about the special edition (007) versions, but I wouldn't mind getting the standard black one with a rubber strap. After all... that's what Bond really wears. Doesn't look like there's going to be a rubber strap option on this. mine is 2836 powered....thicker caseback....light ar i wish they would get a more solid feel in the crown/tube assembly, it's wobbly when in time setting position compared to my gen which feels beefy like the stem is 3mm thick! it's not but the way the crown hugs the tube it is way more solid. the AR is so heavy on the gen i doubt a rep will ever have it....i'd pay 100 extra for good lume and AR and 50 extra for a better crown/tube. that's just me though. and yes, i'd kill for a 22mm rubber strap even though this newest bracelet is 95% as good as gen. it's very very good. this newest one looks slightly better than mine caseback, dial, even mine is way way better than the 42mm 4th gen.
