xelorrolex Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) Good morning fellows After many informal contacts and random encounters across this forum, I realise there is a lot of Children of Hippocrates here ! So, to all the physicians of this board, I wish a very nice day, cool patients, beautiful pathologies , succesful treatments and, above all, TIME !!! Maybe we will have the opportunity to meet each other in an international convention in the future, why not ? Best regards Xel Edited October 2, 2013 by xelorrolex

ghost Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 Shall we chime in as to what kind of physicians we are?

Mike on a bike Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 "gasdoc" OK that is a tough one! Pete you are a sick man!

PeteM Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 So I have this pain in my elbow, it hurts when I do this..... Anyone? Hello? whoever Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 I have to confess though. ...sometimes I can't concentrate because I'm staring at my patients watch to see what they got. ... 1
Nanuq Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 That's okay, I stare at my doctor's watch and think "holy cow, no wonder I'm paying so much!" One doctor friend of mine is involved with the FAA and does flight medicals. I went for a checkup and wore my AOPA Gigandet just to twist his tail a little. I kept noticing him eyeballing it but he never said a word. So, so cruel. Muwahahahahahahaaaaaa
Nanuq Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 I think this thread should be "To physicists..." and then it would get reaaaaaaaaaaallllly interesting!
chango Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 Funny. I run into a lot of docs as a medic and I rarely see any wearing decent wrist watches. Saw a nice Daytona once. A few submariners. One PAM243. My sons pediatrician wears a nice ladies DJ. But i see just as many luxury watches on RNs I deal with. Maybe it's an ER thing? But all the ER docs seem to wear Casios.
prdubis Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 I have to confess though. ...sometimes I can't concentrate because I'm staring at my patients watch to see what they got. ... +1 On duty at ER now :-(
jtiis Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 Think my doc likes my watch. Last visit he said, "You've got a very good ticker." I said, "Thanks, it came from some little kid in China truth be told." He got all angry on me and slammed the door in a huff. Wonder if I missed something?
Mike on a bike Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 Ha ! I knew all the Docs were checking out my watches at work.
janeto72 Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 yep..this my escape too....after a long day of being inside people's mouth's it's good to come here and relax..
ghost Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 Wearing reps at work can sometimes be a pain because a lot of my colleagues are into watches and will insist on asking me about my stuff
