dazzie_99
Just received my 3rd watch from TT, this is the second time the bracelet has had a missing or dodgy pin, no biggie but annoying all the same. Anyway, thought I would post up a pic of my real BLNR and the one I just received from Trusty Time, whats the real and whats the fake one ? jmb
I really don't follow the "late model" watches that much and with such small pics it's hard to tell any detail but the "gut-o-meter" tells me gen on the left...
irolexu
Gen is definitely on right

F.Castro
Right is gen!

dbane883
For sure . Left rep. Right gen.
alt.watch.obsessive
I'm like JMB so this is a good test. Right is gen I assume based on fit and finish.
live1
look at cg,and case and dial and hands and crystal and insert on rep looks bad
alligoat
I like the AR on the cyclops on the right watch, so I'm w/ the gang- right is gen.
dazzie_99
Correct gen is on the right :-), never wore the real one, another safe queen, I like wearing reps better, if it gets scratched etc, who cares :-)
speedbird100
You can tell the rep because the bezel numbers are too low. One of the very few gripes I have with the BP
Pseudonym
Rep on the left. Quite a number of reasons.
Pseudonym
Correct gen is on the right :-), never wore the real one, another safe queen, I like wearing reps better, if it gets scratched etc, who cares :-) I'm sorry bro, I don't see the point? Surely it's insured against lost & damage. Any service will remove any trace of wear... My gen LN gets regular wear. You should too!! rower
The GMT hand is a give away...rep is always too thick. SEL is always much crisper on a gen.
Mike on a bike
Also different fonts on bezel thicker on all numbers gen and as speedbird said to low.
mcotter
Great fun!The rep on the left is a pretty good representation of the Gen on the right. W/ due respect to all the correct responses so..me of which I buy...The cyclops magnification is correct, the rep is off maybe 10%Best, mcotter.. jmb
Heh, I thought the crown on the gen was too chunky! Shows how much I know 'bout these modern thangs...
Ronin
4 quick tells on rep (left): 1.) GMT hand thickness 2.) "9" calendar wheel is not centered 3.) Bezel fonts 4.) Endlinks You would probably fail the "Sushi Bar" test if you sat next to me. That is my yardstick for Rep -vs- Super -vs- Franken -vs Gen spotting... I also have 20/15 vision so that helps. :-)
dazzie_99
£5900 against £100 odd quid, from a distance who can tell, still a good replica, ok not totally perfect, but worth the money IMHO. Well done to everybody who guessed correctly, I shall send each one of you a Rolex Daytona :-)....lol
theblueprince
It would fool most people most of the time if the watch "fitted" the image of someone who'd have a gen. Don't see the point of keeping one as a safe queen though. It's not a rare vintage piece, hard to replace or a delicate dress watch.
THXuk
I understood it was also proved that bezel insert is not ceramic like noob.
