StormTooper4 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Dang I am Skint , I really want this beauty
krpster Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Looks great. Comparing the pics to my Gen and there are only a few minor discrepancies. No worries though, the V2 will fix them.
Archetypal Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 (edited) The long awaited. The gen is super crisp and precisely engineered, I'm hyped to see how well they've nailed this one in the flesh. Edited October 19, 2014 by Archetypal
UmpaHimself Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 I can't wait. Been dreaming of a titanium Submariner recently and this will probably be the closest I'll get. Looks like they knocked it out of the park (even though there are a few corrections). Price is pretty steep though. Not out of reach but if each new rep costs you $500 the money will start adding up way quicker.
StormTooper4 Posted October 20, 2014 Author Report Posted October 20, 2014 Yeah its pretty pricey especially as it gets filed under "the not another bloody Sub /Diver " Category . One for the Xmas list
highoeyazmuhudee Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 this is a nice one! got the black bay already, must seriously consider if i want another tudor "sub"
martijnp Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 This looks great! It's a fantastic watch, saw the genuine a while back on a rubber strap. Perfect combo!
markiemark Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 I hope they repped the functionalities of the clasp aswell! The gen clasp is awesome!
maximo101 Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 Sorry, not my cup of tea... the snow flake dials always remind me of lego bricks! However, I like Tudors mucho
sgtguk Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 Been waiting ages for this one to come up, Xmas can't come quick enough now !
panerai153 Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 Sorry, not my cup of tea... the snow flake dials always remind me of lego bricks! However, I like Tudors mucho I have to agree. I had a genuine "Snowflake" 9411/0 Blue. Really never wore it much. beautiful watch, but I it just never did grow on me. I do like Tudors though, took the proceeds from the Snowflake sale and bought a vintage Tudor Chrono!! Much more to my liking.
StormTooper4 Posted October 24, 2014 Author Report Posted October 24, 2014 I thought I was the only one who was a bit Meh! on the vintage snowflake , I think this is a different watch though , like how the indices sit .
sor@mail.technion.ac.il Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Tried one on at the dealership today, right next to all the RLX's and this is a very impressive watch in the flesh. First off its very surprising how little it weighs, and its ballanced very nicely on the wrist.. none of the sagging or slipping about I get with the heftier watches even though it has wrist presence.
whitestripes Posted December 18, 2014 Report Posted December 18, 2014 What's wrong with it? What would a v2 fix?
mrbobdobalina Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 The main issue I see on some of these is crooked hour markers. Get one with straight markers and you are set. I am not a huge fan of titanium watches but I might have to try one of these out, the size is perfect for me.
sergio789 Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 got mine from PT. bezel is rock solid, no flex at all. markers are 100% except for one slightly out of sync, but you camn only see that on QC x5 magnification. Bracelet is awesome. I have to say the quality of ZF version is exceptional. After 2 min exposure to sun, lume glows like led torch:)! Rubber strap is super soft. yeah, thats it in a nutshell.
