davids100
Hi FolksAfter the great October contest, here is another chance to share with other members your achievements and win a prize. 2 categories, low budget (under $500) and high end ones. We reset the contest every month so we can change our best build if we have a new one during the year. One small present for the winner every month. Yeah guys, i'll send to the winner an item as a reward for his achievement and keep members sharing their passion. If it occurs that I win a contest, I'll give the present to the second. In case of draw, a present for each!Nothing fancy regarding the freebie, a NATO strap or a goodie related to the particular build that won the contest. End of posting 28th of each month. Voting starting from 29th till the end of the month. One build per member, spec list and short story to illustrate the journey to make it possible. Last comment: what make it special to you. Good luck to all of you

jelliottz
After seeing all the great builds last month, I want to play. Here's a franken Tudor 79090 I built for a friend. Gen dial Gen insert Gen 702 crown Gen ETA 2824 w/ roulette date wheel Clark's hands- aged by me to match the dial HR5513 midcase and case back- light sanding and polish to remove the sharp edges Clark's bezel assembly Clark's t125 plexi. I'm so pleased with how this one came out. I decided to post it over my own 9401 UAE franken. Thanks for putting this together. Its awesome to see so many amazing pieces in one thread. Aero_Dave
OK, even though om3ga_guy will probably win (nice watch) here is mine. For those who are not into TT models: Super Franken Rolex 16610... Build consists of: - ST Lug-Hole Case (reshaped) - TC bezel - TC V4 Bracelet (reshaped the SEL correctly fit the case) - Genuine Rolex Dial & Hands (Original Matching Set) - Genuine Rolex Insert - New Genuine Rolex date disc - New Genuine Rolex Crown - New Genuine Rolex Tube - New Genuine Rolex crystal - Genuine Rolex Cal. 3135 movement In its natural elements.. All built by our very own Mike (misiekped). Somewhat of a rare model, but according to Mike it was available from Rolex for about 6 months only. During their transition from dropping the "Swiss – T<25" dials & Lug-Holed cases to the newer "Swiss Made" dials and no-holed cases. So this makes mine a late 2002 / early 2003 Y series. Oh and BTW, she is running 1.38 seconds fast per day. That’s COSC standards Thanks, Dave…
droptopman
Dave, what a cool time piece. Truly one of the last lug hole 16610. While I have an affinity for 16613 as that was my first gen, this certainly makes the voting difficult for me. Awesome build man.
