Victoria Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 MONDAY I don't think anyone really reads my intros to each photo. So today, no talk. Just rep watch pics. My new Chanel J12 Superleggera from RWG member, Garethsm. TUESDAY PAM 118 with tobacco dial from RWG member, CzarCzar (first forum purchase ever) -- on a Micah Copperplate strap. Background: Mother wearing Silix Rolex Submariner in blue/gold. Louis Vuitton "pochette" handbag (gen).
Corgi Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 I shall wear the Submariner this Monday, Wednesday, and Tuesday.
Victoria Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Corgi, just wanted you to know that my parents saw your pic, fell in love with your TT Sub, and we got that similar watch you see my mother wearing above because of you. Thanks so much for being an inspiration!
UB7 Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 (edited) Still wearing my chronomat evo..This thing has been planted on my wrist since I purchased it. The crown has been slipping a tiny bit as of late, and also once every few weeks, when I use the chrono function it goes for 30 seconds than the entire watch freezes. You have to reset the chrono, pull it out to hack set and push back in and wind it up to remedy the problem. Is this normal with the 7750? This has never happened on my daytonas but its not a big deal because I rarely use the chrono, other than that it keeps great time. Edited November 5, 2007 by UB7
UB7 Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 (edited) Since you mentioned bags vb, heres a shot with the 07/08 autumn/winter collection furla catalog..I got her the one all the way on the left, it has an acrylic handle...How do those titanium/steel refinishing pens work? Need to touch up the bracelet, can anyone help me out with a link to the how-to for refinishing bands? Cant find it in search Edited November 5, 2007 by UB7
Beowoulf Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 I shall wear the Submariner this Monday, Wednesday, and Tuesday. Gorgeous watch! Where did you get it?
jmt Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 No change for me... still loving the new-to-the-rotation Panda dial and black carbon/white stitch strap...
lanikai Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 it's Monday somewhere in the world so i will post ... since i'm closest to the southern most point in the U.S. if I post on Monday it will be tuesday everywhere else.. Navitimer TT .. I know it should be worn with cuffs to do it justice.. oh well it's tropical here and flash floods today.. so I am in board shorts ... just recieve this a couple of day's ago.. gears feel "hollow" and very light AR.. that's why i went with the white dial on this one..
Corgi Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Corgi, just wanted you to know that my parents saw your pic, fell in love with your TT Sub, and we got that similar watch you see my mother wearing above because of you. Thanks so much for being an inspiration! She is going to love this watch. I hope you got the version with 14K gold wrap, because it really is a huge improvement... it is a significantly thicker plate that holds very well on the inside of the bracelet. I look really good wearing this watch. Really good. You can spot the bling from a mile away... However, I can already feel the bezel coming loose so be careful and try to remove and re-glue with a strong paste otherwise it might fall off and cause an embarrassing moment!
rocket754 Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 got the car waxed today  So I am going to be sporting my trusty BCE

I'm not much for Navi TTs, but that is a really good look for you, Lanikai! Especially imagining you in board shorts wearing that.
POTR Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Probably a couple of these... Except the Blue TT on the Invicta pillow (I threw that one up there for Corgi)
Stephane Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Will try to go Chrono, today at least This one: or or
slai Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 A bad watch week culminated in a bad car week where I was rearended last night. The car is totalled but I have no serious injury except for bad whiplash and general soreness throughout so today calls for the watch that makes me smile every time I look at it. Go The Zigmeister!

Slai, I'm so sorry. Most of us have had these one-after-the-other bad weeks -- bad luck seems to happen at every turn. Fortunately, it eventually stops. Good luck to you, and I see why you love wearing that watch. I makes ME smile whenever I see it. Imagine you.
ocram Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 I started this week with my IWC Big Pilot. But I would like to sell it. But don
