Congrats, goirish! Was the new addition due to winning big at the tables? ;)

@jmm -- We want pics of the Fiddy!!!!

Thanks. Truth be told, it had more to do with "winning big" at the bar rather than the tables. ;) I actually went in looking for a 104, but once the salesman splipped the 250 on my wrist, that was all she wrote.

Holy crap UJ. That's what at least 150K in PAM's maybe more? Wow. I'm working on number 1. Not sure what I'm going to get yet. Probably a 111 or 112.

only the 203 goes this days for 100k....and where are the other gems (speaking in $) in the UJ collection...

pity the one that I'd like to own are priced so high (028 on top of all others)...with the quality of the reps these days I am not interested in owning a 111 or something like that and spending 10x more than the price of the rep...in the meantime I ordered myself a nice rep of the vintage Panerai powered with an Angelus SF240 movement...I don't mind here spending the big $ cause I know I'll never be able to own the gen....

I understand your point of view.. But for me you know what it really matters?

Two years after I have the 112 I still look at my wrist and love it. That means I did the right decision money and value aside. Of course it has also increased in price and if I want to sell it now I will get also profit.

Does it worths 4000$ for a Unitas watch? YES when you are so happy with it after two years you enjoy it as it was your first day and you haven't taken it off for anything else.
