Would you be so kind as to edit your post to remove that image? Some of us view this place from work on our lunch break and would not want to run the risk of getting into trouble for some nice....buns.

@GD

Sorry my friend...

But his picture breaks no rules...

TTK, I do not know you neither do I have any previous dealings with you but I do feel sorry for you for your eye problems. I do have eye problems myself but they are not as seriouis as yours. Do take care and I hope that you'll get better soon. No need to cry as we're all in God's hands.

I advise that you spend more time resting and less on your business and on the computer screen. I'm sure most members will understand.

Regards,

dooley

TTK-

My sincere best wishes to you -- and take care of yourself.

I know a bit about what you're faced with- diabetes is not a friend; I have my own struggles with it.

I have an awfully hard time understanding people who, it seems, always ascribe the worst intentions and the most evil motives to others... seems like it's mostly a reflection of their own shortcomings. I tend to err in the other direction, I think... have I ever been scammed as a result? yes, but not enough to even think twice about it.

Get through this. You are a valuable asset to this board and the rep community; a fast hand with an acerbic wit and a rapier-like response... we need you here.

As I said in another thread... Last watch I bought was a Chopard GTXL from Neil. 2 weeks from Skype order to delivery and it is as close to perfect as any item I have ever bought.

One thing you will always get from Neil is honesty - brutal honesty in some cases. To paraphrase Mr Nicholson 'some people can't handle the truth'.

i somehow dont believe you would feel that way if you were stuck in with the good amount of people that DID not get their watches.

I can say i ordered a noob from Neil. It came in 10 days later, and i was HAPPY as a little school girl. But wow, if i was in the bunch that didnt get their watch? I would be UPSET and brutal in my messages. I am dissapointed with the numerous posts around all 3 forums of "where's my watch? it's been 3 months!"

It's not a matter of wanting the watch NOW. it's a matter of knowing that you as a person who paid, will in the end recieve their watch within a timely matter - not promised that it will ship next week next week. in the least, TTK is always around, so u know he's not going to go underground?

get better neil, and take it easy - your health is more important.

I really don't understand how some people think that publicly accusing one of our longest standing dealers is going to get them their watch any quicker? I just don't get it. If somebody owed me something I would be as diplomatic about it as possible. Especially when dealing with counterfeit goods with a guy half way around the world. I see guys here that are screaming because they haven't received a watch ordered on January 30th for christ sakes! My first watch took longer than that, and I never had any thought of publicly crying "scammer". TTK posted in this very thread his reasons for delay. Be nice. Be patient. You'll get your watch. If you want to be an a$$hole about it, its probably just going to take longer.

And btw, all the information about how TTK does business is available. Its no secret. You guys probably knew that or should have done your homework before placing your orders.

@ andreww

I am put in mind of a parable from India...........

Many people were living in a great hall with no light,,,someone saw a piece of rope lying on the floor and screamed 'SNAKE'

Panic ensued..people crashing into each other , tearing out their hair in despair.

Some called for order

Some tried to organise committees to deal with the snake

A small fearless boy picked up the rope and cried ' There is no snake!'

But who could hear him........

Gotta admit the same thoughts have crossed my mind, I'm willing to bet the guys that make the least noise will receive their watches first.

I DISAGREE on a part of what you have stated

As a lot of the members I also believe that one's health is no point of discussion but as wellknown on all the forums Neills way of dealing with people is sometimes great and sometimes terrible, that is his choice, he is a very outspoken person, sometimes even rude in his communications. If you want to deal with Neill, you have to accept that. Also it is his choice to answer skype/mail/chat whenever he chooses, some will get no answer at all or a sarcastic one, some get an instant answer, his choice. To be open about his illness, again his choice.

I can understand that some members are p)(*&ssed of when having paid a lot of money to Neill and didn't get what was agreed yet after months, some comments seem harsh but so are Neills comments in various threads. You have to hear both sides in this.

Karma, Neil, Karma. It's all coming back to you now....

loewenheart

Sir, it is just plain mean to kick anybody when they are down ... when experiencing the Luciferous feelings of epicaricacy or schadenfreude it is best to keep them to yourself ... they are in bad taste and reflect poorly on your parents and your upbringing.

To TTK ... One day at a time ... I wish you well ... peace be upon you.

Ok guys......I haven't been active very much on the boards recently....I'd considered putting up a post explaining why.....but I thought....'hell ..they'll never believe me'......however I am aware that there is an ongoing thread regarding me......so I feel it's only proper to take this opportunity to offer up my explanation as to why I seem to have been so inactive in terms of PM's....Skype and the different forums recently.

Last year around mid-summer I started to notice an anomaly in terms of my vision, when I woke in the mornings and came out of my bedroom I found that everything was extremely 'bright'.....as though there were huge studio lights shining in thru' my windows......which resulted in me squinting for a period of time until my eyes 'adjusted' to the light intensity......I mentioned it to Narikaa who was out here at the time...( I'm sure he'll remember our conversation ).....as well as a number of other members.......however I put it down to lack of sleep and perhaps eyestrain from PC use and the fact that where I live is pretty much always bathed in very bright sunlight........then as suddenly as it appeared it seemed to settle and I gave no further thought to it... !

Recently.....probably since late January......I started to notice a re-occurrence of these symptoms.......along with some others....constant itching of my eyelids.....pain in the eyelids as well as blurry vision..... dry burning eyes....especially when using the PC for long periods......I tried the usual remedies of Optrex bathing solutions....eye drops etc etc.......however there was no noticeable improvement.....I was also getting headaches......and vision changes.....!

Over the past 2/3 weeks I started to become more alarmed and decided to go to hospital........after a battery of tests.......it seems I have blepharitis...( Google it )....and glaucoma.....if the blepharitis can't be eradicated or controlled...I'll end up blind......that is of course if the glaucoma they also found doesn't make me blind first......here's where the other factor comes in......diabetes.....because of the reduced immune structure in diabetics...it takes longer to heal.....!

So for the past weeks I've been following a strict eye hygiene routine......and also the biggest pain the ass......having to use a topical anti-biotic applied directly to the eyeball.......this is a gel......which 'films' across the eye as you close and open your eyelid.... the downside is......it leaves you with worse eyesight than before you use it......it's like trying to look thru' bubble wrap.........and it takes about 2-3 hours before you can see reasonably proper after....so it's lie down in a dark room and waiiiit........applied 4 times a day........so I'm not getting a lot of 'clear vision' time....and still have burning eyes....!

As a result of the above...I've been online infrequently......mainly to check PM's......and to get addresses for items that need to be sent out....Skype use has been very infrequent.......with an occasional posting to the board ...before I have to give it a rest again......very frustrating.....if I didn't have burning eyes ...I'd probably cry.....but can't....!

I haven't posted this looking for sympathy.....it's just something that I have to work thru' as best as I can......I posted it to make those members who have contacted me via PM / Skype / e-mail with enquiries etc etc.....that I am not ignoring them......I just have some difficulties at present........anybody want to buy a Minolta Dimage 7D....let me know...the way I'm feeling at present......it looks as tho' I won't be taking too many photos in future.....although' that's probably just my depression speaking........my Doctor's prognosis is that it will be OK.....just need to get rid of the infection......I'm told that the glaucoma can be controlled and that long term it needn't get worse.......I know we have a diverse membership and many specialists in our midst......any eye specialists or sufferers out there care to comment !

That's the bad news for me......there's good and bad news for some members tho'......here it is.....!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ALL orders from the group buy for ANYTHING other than GMT's......have either been sent or are in the process of being sent....almost all of you who placed a single order ..i.e....for Noobmariner / Yachtie / LV etc etc.....your orders have shipped......the members waiting are those who have placed an order for either a GMT on it's own....or in combination with another item.

My supplier in BKK.....initially confirmed that GMT's were available....otherwise I wouldn't have offered it.....and then he back-pedaled....saying that the factory were no longer making them....only to reconfirm that they would be available after CNY..... I had been pestering the life out of him to get them as quickly as possible.....I confirmed that I needed approx 25 of them........so he told me that he would be going to China to pick up new stock.....and that he would acquire them when he was there........!

So he's back now...full of woe...and lamenting that the factory lied to him....and that he's searched the whole of Guangzhou for them.......and found 1x......!

So....can those members who have ordered a GMT.....please send me a PM....with a contact tel number so that I can call you.....for obvious reasons ....I can't get involved in lengthy PM exchanges with members......it's much easier on my eyes for me to call you....although' it may not be such a pleasure for your ears......!

I apologise to those who have been waiting....and assure you that your item has been sent or is imminent....if anyone hasn't received their item for whatever reason.....send me your tel # and I'll try to confirm status.....!

I'll try to log on as often as possible to keep you informed of progress in all areas......but if you don't see me logged on or on Skype.....you'll know why....!

For those members who have contacted me to order...please understand that I'm operating in reduced mode....!

I've been a member of the various forums for a great many years...enjoying all aspects of them....from discussing various aspects ....even to the flame wars......I'm hoping that will continue for along time to come...and that my activity wont be curtailed by this curse that I've inherited.....!

I'm giving up on the 2 watches that don't run, and I do acknowledge you made a gesture to show concern, but I still wasted more than $ 700.00 due to your neglect and irradic behavior.

Also it's manipulative to offer your eye issues in a dramatic plea for understanding. I'm a doctor and I've heard these kind of stories forever.

You probably have diabetes and I am probably correct in assuming you have managed it adequately for some time as do millions of

people with diet and perhaps oral medication.

Glaucoma too is a chronic condition that unfortunately millions of people have to deal with. It's a condition causing increased pressure in the eye, It sometimes doesn't need medication, but most people manage it with drops which keep the pressure normal. Although untreated it can cause blindness in severe cases, eye drops and an occasional check by the eye doctor is all it entails for almost everyone in the modern world.

Then there's blepharitis, a crusty inflammation of the eyelid, possibly with some infection around the eye lashes. Warm compresses when possible and drops or ointment usually cure it in a week or two although the drops might be continued so the infection doesn't linger.

Most people keep working as they treat blepharitis. Some might take a few days to get it under control.

So you have a few issues that most people take care of with a visit or two to their doctor and a bit of care at home. They rarely miss work; so I think it's misleading to offer these as an excuse for anything.

During your posts you mentioned that you would do good by all those waiting. Just to let you know if we have/ have not rec'd the item. I recently sent you a PM which you have read and I still am waiting for a reply. As the doctor has noted above, yes you may have eye issues/ diabetes but you do come online and you do spend time here. So, a little reply who help quelch some fires. I do not wish to have a war with you or your followers, all I wish to have is

1- the watch I ordered that you said was mailed mid February or

2- moneygram for the refund on the piece purchased. I will think that all members feel for your health. But I also trust that all members can do their homework look back at a very good summary put out by HikeUSA and see that there is a tend and it's almost to the day back in 2007.

Now, I didn't shout, swear, become cynical/sarcastic or name call. I would expect from you the same.

There I have said my peace. Thanks for listening Neil.

Not always the case,...

Though I wish Neil the best of health, and feel for him, it's foolish to a degree of emotional silliness to dismiss all that has transpired in the long history of TTK the dealer, just because of it.

After all, business IS business and if he is, as is always stated, just a rich collector that dabbles in this trade for the benefit of us all, then I say relax and retire and get your health back as this game is full of headache that we have created with our spoiled demand for genuine quality in replicas.

Richard, I believe you have the right to express your opinion freely, as does everyone. But, you are speaking of past experience. All I was saying is that if I had a deal pending with a dealer, and the deal was going south, I would be as cooperative and understanding as possible.... Until I got my watch. Neil has given his side of the story and promised to make it right, but still guys flame him. I just don't see the point. I have the same attitude in business, and handle myself professionally and politely. At the end of the deal I analyze whether to use a certain vendor again. Being rude during the transaction does nothing to smooth the process.

Andrew, I always enjoy your post, love your taste in watches, and highly respect your opinions...

In this case however I wanted to point out that patience, at least in the case of Neil is not always key.

In what other pursuit of a purchase would close to a year wait be rude or impatient if you complained ?

What time factor constitutes a rip off ? 3 months, 4 ? 6 ? 10 ?.. a year ?

I would reiterate the fact that in some cases there is a distinct and intentional lack of communication once payment is made.

I don't know about you, but if someone takes my money, then ignores me,.. that is grounds for trouble...

Am I alone in this ? :whistling:

I wonder at how many people who are loathe to post their experiences...

My experience in the replica boards all the way back to rwg1 would say that most tend not to post anything negative and if I were a newbie I would never post what I am now
