FxrAndy Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Now that is really upping the anti on the wrist check Utube films of your tourby going round and round and round and round and round and round and click Ohhh was that hipnotic for a second. Well done mate, i dont think i could wear one but i could sure as hell look at it all day! No change Some one please tell me when it gets boring posting the same watch all the time.
b16a2 Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 I never knew the Tourbillon moved in that fashion, I thought they were static, that is very impressive Pix!
dylan Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Just got this from UB7...perfect transaction. Its got an issue with the day wheel which I knew before purchasing....This will get an ETA 7750 installed in it today. If you fix the day wheel might as well swap the whole darn thing...right? Overkill?
Stephane Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Well, I think I am probably going to alternate between these two for a while as they came back home yesterday
kokedose Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 That Tourbillon is absolutely gorgeous my friend. May i ask where you purchased it and how much these beauties go for..i would love one of my own

Overkill? It's a beauty Dave, congrats. It deserves a Swiss for sure and why not some Zig lume job That watch starts to grow on me, really.
dylan Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 @Stephane: thank you my friend. it certainly is a looker. I had owned a Cousteau Diver before and liked the look, but I've never been keen on rubber straps, so a diver like this on bracelet is nice. I like the fact that it is 42mm as well. Recently I've been on an IWC kick...I can't get over how beautiful a modded Ingy & 3717 can be.
Stephane Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Well, Dave, I seriously think that IWC is my second favourite brand. I'll get one like your UB7 some day... Wear them well
robertk Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Wow... Beautiful Tourbillon. Today: Latest acquisition Thursday: Omega GMT Friday:
MAHLER Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 (edited) So, what about a new strap ? Alligator, croc, Teju, smooth leather ? Brown or Cognac ? Black ? Mmm... seems I will spend time in hunting a decent dress for this masterpiece (yes, chinese it is, but looking at the thing, I consider it as a masterpiece) black strap on your baby !! Edited April 30, 2008 by MAHLER
Corgi Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 I finally snapped some new pictures or two! By the way - everyone gets a big "gold star" from me today; lovely watches on display!
Pix Posted April 30, 2008 Author Report Posted April 30, 2008 That Tourbillon is absolutely gorgeous my friend. May i ask where you purchased it and how much these beauties go for..i would love one of my own Thx I have been waiting ro afford a Tourbi for a while... It seems the prices have drastically decreased. This one comes from Watchmark. He sells about 550-580 + shipment. The strap is acceptable, but not the level I want. So count with the cost of an additionnal strap.
Nanuq Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 I think I'll haul out the old beater again...
dluddy Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 Wednesday: Freshly modded 010A with T-Dial Ziggified.

dylan Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 @dluddy: that 10A is sweet....love the lume color.. @lanikai: loving the strap on that exupery
POTR Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 Wow... lots of nice ones today... have to jump high... something no one here is likely to have seen before... A first among firsts... not likely to be seen again... How about the rarest watch in my dwindling collection? This is a MIMO Antimagnetic Waterproof watch... And it was born at least 20 years before the Milgauss.
lanikai Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 @ Dave NYC ... thank you .. the rest of the strap is not bad either @ POTR ... this is a wristi.. not leg shots
