pitimany Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 MBW case, gen dial, tube, crown, t19 crystal, spring-bars and bezel, tudor hands and eta-2836. next will be a original 93150 bracelet on it way.
freddy333 Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 I was thinking it was a modded MBW, but the dial threw me (it looked too good) until I got to the end & found out that there is a reason the dial looks so good. Excellent work & I cannot wait to see it decked out with the proper bracelet. (This is 1 of those times when I wish we still had the rating system)
chefcook Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 wow! A real gem! The plexi subs with the glossy dial are one of my favorite rolex - will have to build one in future

Stephane Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 wow! A real gem! The plexi subs with the glossy dial are one of my favorite rolex - will have to build one in future Now that you mention it, I agree. Between both worlds Very nice watch and thanks for taking the time to show it to us Cheers Stephane
Star69 Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 that's one of these cool "spiderweb" dials - at least it will be one in the future - very nice ! but i would change the pearl in the insert. cheers, Frank
polexpete Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Awesome! i just picked up one of these dials off of a member here. If it turns out this good i'll be very happy... P.
Justasgood Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 A shout out from my glossy to yours......nice work Enjoy it.
alligoat Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Very nice. It's amazing how long the 5513 lasted with the 1520 movement inside. But I agree with Frank, the correct all acrylic pearl in the bezel insert is a must.
Heywood Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Wow that's gorgeous. I too love the 5513 with the metal indices. Nice work!
marsupilami Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 hey, this is my current project ! I have a gen. "swiss" dial (no spiderweb problems ) and still hesitate to cut the dial feet off. should I wait for an affordable 1520 movement ? where do I get tudor hands ?

Clarks for the Tudor hands & yes to the 1520, if you can afford it (figure $900-$1,200 & an additional $250+ for service/overhaul).
Dizzy Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 those are some very nice 5513's there guys. I am still working on a similar 5514 comex version of this watch... one day i'lll get it done.
tmg Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 Very nice P! It looks like you've been a busy bee lately and with great results I might add.
