I was thinking it was a modded MBW, but the dial threw me (it looked too good) until I got to the end & found out that there is a reason the dial looks so good.

Excellent work & I cannot wait to see it decked out with the proper bracelet.

(This is 1 of those times when I wish we still had the rating system) :good:

wow! A real gem!

The plexi subs with the glossy dial are one of my favorite rolex - will have to build one in future :)

Now that you mention it, I agree.

Between both worlds

Very nice watch and thanks for taking the time to show it to us :D

that's one of these cool "spiderweb" dials -

at least it will be one in the future - very nice !

but i would change the pearl in the insert.

Very nice. It's amazing how long the 5513 lasted with the 1520 movement inside.

But I agree with Frank, the correct all acrylic pearl in the bezel insert is a must.

hey, this is my current project !

I have a gen. "swiss" dial (no spiderweb problems ) and still hesitate to cut the dial feet off.

should I wait for an affordable 1520 movement ?

where do I get tudor hands ?

Clarks for the Tudor hands & yes to the 1520, if you can afford it (figure $900-$1,200 & an additional $250+ for service/overhaul).
