JoJo35 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 I've been away from the forum for a while, mainly just working two jobs to survive. However, I recently acquired a final piece to the puzzle of my Dr. No project, and wanted to share with fellow vintage lovers. This piece has a host of genuine , plus put together with the tlc of the master. After searching for months, I finally found a genuine NOS Tropic 20mm strap. Lol, now all I need is a vacation to Aruba to wear it on the beach!

Jojo, Another jewel in your collection -congrats to you and and "the master"! Ditto. JoJo - Which power plant did you use? I almost went with the same dial for my 6536 project, but I decided against it because I did not like the way they printed the depth rating line.
JoJo35 Posted February 5, 2009 Author Report Posted February 5, 2009 JoJo - Which power plant did you use? Hi freddy, This piece has a 1530

RWG Technical Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 It looks amazing, what a great way to finish off this project. Well done. RG
jonthebhoy Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Wonderful specimen..............Arsula Undress. JTB PS - the watch isn't bad either!
alligoat Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Wonderful specimen..............Arsula Undress. Jon, Think of this, Dr. No was made in 1963- 46 years ago. We all know Sean Connery is around 78-79 years old these days. If Ursula was 25 at the time, that means she's 71 now- ouch!
jonthebhoy Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Off topic but didn't her bikini get sold at auction recently for daft money?
freddy333 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Hi freddy, This piece has a 1530 Very nice. NDTrading case/bezel? ____________ Ziggy (or anyone) - Any chance you might have a spare crown wheel (the ring, not the core) laying around for a Rolex 1030?
ThinkBachs Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Nice watch pic! Nice camel shot too. lol You know you're seriously addicted when you don't notice these things until someone points them out...
