  1. Hi, the Omega Aquaterra comes to mind, when doing a research on dresswatch found the Vacheroy Constantin Overseas to be a wonderful rep and nice, thin watch. In another style the AP Royal Oak 15400 in white or silver dial is great too.

  2. I also collect pocket watches. I just got this today. I really like the Portuguese from IWC and this reminded me of it. Its from 1930 all original blue hands works great and the case is 925 sterling. Enjoy. Im gonna post my favorite pocket watch that i own on the vacheron forum.

  5. Still. If we can't reject watches with bad lume and skewed letters... I have a stinker of a PO while I have seen examples of perfect ones around. Do I not pay the same money as others? Do I not have the right to get a good watch? This is what is starting to really bother me about the rep business. It's illegal so we should be on our knees thanking the dealers for the privilege of purchasing rep watches? F*ck that, seriously. I work hard for my money, I'd like to see something in return. Is it really that hard for the rep factories to have a bit of quality control?

  7. Buddy, try the new v5 first. ask tc for the upgrade version of v4 or just ask v5. it fixed the folding flaw of v3 n v4. However, the sel is still not as perfect as v3. and clasp not as great as v4 .

  8. Ya grinders are important for consistently good espresso. I've got a simple Nespresso machine with milk frother at work. I've got to say it does do quite a good job. And some of the Nespresso roasts are excellent, such as the #10 Ristretto. But for home I've got my eye on either a La Spazialle or Quick Mill. I want 20 amp dual boiler. The Quick Mill is a good looking machine: Haven't decided yet on a grinder. It's amazing how much one "needs" to invest to get something acceptable that is going to last as well! 9. This site is one of the scam sites, lots of photos of genuine watches, no descriptions at all, just a picture and a price. But a really slick website with their on "review" section. Wonder if they would post. "this Milgauss you sold me is a POS"!! All set up to troll in the unsuspecting noobs!!

  13. +1 No point wearing a 10 grand rep rollie and getting out of a shed on wheels with no road tax! (I've done it!) What you wear is just as important as how you wear it IMO. I'm a window cleaner and never get called out on my 3k brietlings. My mantra is the gen version of your rep should never be worth more that your wheels. Unless your sixx bones then just do what the hell you want! Normal rules simply don't apply to that man!

  14. Alvin, that is what I have always preached. The manner and temerity in which you carry yourself determines what reps you are able to pull off with due aplomb. When I had money I bought a wardrobe of clothes that are still in vogue , but on any given day I;m wearing 1 to 2 thousand in attire, shoes, and a couple hundred bucks for the watch. Never have I been questioned about whether my watch is real or not. Maybe it has to do with my being 6'4" and the question poser fears instant death. However, that is not as plausible as how we carry ourselves. Simple as that. Thanks for bringing that up Legend!!

  17. UPDATED VERSION : NOW WITH INSTALLER AND WILL WORK ON WINDOWS XP, Vista, 7 and 8, 32 or 64 bit. Hi guys, I have developed a little tool that allows you to find out all the information (that I have been able to gather) for any TD that is on any of the 4 rep forums, RWG, RWG.bz, RG and RWI. (it includes options for WUS and TZ-UK but I haven't entered anything for them) It allows you to select which forum you want to see the trusted dealers for, and also allows you to narrow the choice down to watch sellers, strap sellers, part sellers, other items sellers, and repair / maintenance people. The Watch and Strap sections are complete, but the other sections I'm sure there are a lot more TDs / members out there that provide these services - if you are one such person, please PM me to be included. If anyone wants to redistribute this on any of the other REP forums, feel free to do so. DO NOT TRY TO DISTRIBUTE IT ON ANY GEN FORUMS!!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU BUY FROM A DEALER WHO IS NOT A TD ON THE FORUMS YOU ARE A MEMBER OF, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN IF ANY PROBLEMS HAPPEN! Please read my next post, it explains this in more detail. How To Use This is what the main page looks like:- It is as simple as it looks! If you want to narrow your search, use the check boxes to select what you want. Click "View". A new window will appear with all the data found. Any links into the forums are clickable. Any links to dealer websites that have been verified are clickable. Any links to dealer websites that have NOT been verified are NOT clickable. If you want to use these, first go to that dealers forum page and double check the website address is correct and then cut and paste the website link into a browsers address bar. (And if the link provided is correct, if you want to you could send me a PM letting me know so I can change it to Verified status!) You can download an installer for the program from here:- http://rapidshare.com/share/B6C0BC178FF1E15B8612D7EF0BC0E91C It requires .NET 3.5 SP1 to run. This is part of Windows 7, so if you are using Windows 7 or Windows 8 it is already there. For those Windows XP or Vista users, when you run the installer, if it detects that .NET 3.5 SP1 is not on your PC it will ask if you want to download and install it, if you say yes it will go away and do that for you, and then continue with the installation. The actual program itself is tiny but I've had to wrap it in an installer to guarantee it will install correctly on anyones Windows PC. Any problems, please PM me. Richard Mods : If this contravenes any rules please whip the rapidshare link out / delete the post and PM me with a slapped wrist, and if so, I apologies in advance!

  19. Thanks Alligoat. Great thing with using a 2893 is that it all lines up in the case like a gen plus the datewheel overlay fits under the GMT gear so no binding like with a 2836. The spacer ring is from Rafflestime but i had to shave it down with a dremel to make it fit, best get one from Yuki it seems. Taller pinnions are a must on all the 2893's i've used Cheers P.
