There have also been several instances of powders showing up in the mail. Scary stuff! I'm sure that will slow things down for any domestic mail in the States. Jon

Thats gonna be hot! My top 3: 1. 187: its just a massive, rugged looking bad@ss mofo! But also looks very distinguished with a 26/26 strap. 2. 1680: because its my work in progress and I enjoy the work! Also very comfortable for any occasion. Original pic from day of arrival. 3. SMP: Mines not from old stock, but its still a great watch. Super impressive quality on the bracelet though I wish it had pins. Very comfortable and form fitting to my wrist. Could easily be worn with a suit. Also has tendencies to make you feel like a British Spy for some reason? Cheers, Jon And the first two again!

So here's my EL 111h. Didn't even realize two things about it when I bought it but anyways it had a silver second hand and the dial print was a bit crooked. Contacted EL for a new dial. Got the hand from Davidsen. After a long and painstaking "upgrade" session and this one being out of my wearable rotation I've done only parts of the mods due to lack of parts. Anyhow its back together and better than original so I thought I'd post a few pics. Enjoy. Also the last picture was scrambled somehow when I uploaded to my laptop. Its actually kind of cool, I'm now using it as my Desktop background. Hope its not a sign of more trouble to come as I got the camera used. Cheers, Jon

For Those Who Own Genuine 7750 Based Chronos...

I had a gen Super Avenger for awhile. Winding was smooth as silk and the chronos reset always. But Breitling's Caliber 13 movements are only based on the Valjoux 7750 not assembled in the same factories. From what I understand they are decorated and assembled by Breitling. I've heard some say that even the 7750 from ETA is machine assembled and possibly not oiled as well as it could be. Maybe you just got an unlucky model. If it were me I would exchange the watch. Gray market sellers like Ashford will provide a 2-3 year warranty but that is through themselves not direct with the manufacturer. Better to have a watch with no issues now than to try and deal with them later. Cheers and congrats on the new purchase, Jon -

At least when you post here you can go back and delete the thread or edit the thread accordingly. With Paypal, once the red flag is raised no matter what you do they might still further investigate the sellers actions. I've had a "red flag" raised on me and they ask a lot of questions. You have to provide proof of identity. You have to provide A LOT of personal information. They can freeze all the funds in your accounts. They can reverse band transfers/withdrawels. They can require proof of inventory, which is difficult to do when you deal in contraband! Trust me reporting anything to Paypal in this hobby is just BAD BUSINESS! Next time air it out here and you can undo your actions if the dealer makes the situation right! Which from my experience with our dealers they ALWAYS MAKE IT RIGHT if you aren't asking for something that is unreasonable! Cheers, Jon

Well said! Sam you raised a "red flag" on a dealer's account. Regardless of the dollar amount or the time frame you jumped the gun! It would be 10x better to air out dirty laundry with a dealer on these forums than to file any type of claim/dispute with Paypal. What you did is similar to running to the cops to tell them that your crack dealer shorted you a rock and took your money! Next time, if another dealer gives you one, I would use more restraint when going to the authorities! Cheers, Jon Edit to add: What you also need to consider is by doing this you will make other dealers skeptical about using Paypal as many of our dealers have already had their share of issues with them. Paypal is the easiest and most convenient way to purchase products in our hobby.

Bottom line is this dude! Buying and selling replica watches is NOT LEGAL! So drawing attention to anyones paypal account is definately NOT A GOOD THING! Sorry to say it but your rep here is now going to be tarnished! Cheers, Jon
