It would be great quality and cheaper too with a reliable accurate movement, probably from ETA($5). thing is, even if they made it I dont see myself buying one simply because it ticks, most people who collect reps or look for higher end watches probably wouldnt either and this might be why. that being said im not sure why the gen costs over $1000

is the "hidden" flip lock correct for this model?

everytime I go by an OMEGA AD this is in the window and im always in awe of it, its like nothing i've ever seen before, a chunk of metal on your wrist from a distant future world or something, instant attention grabber. that being said I dont know if it's for me, its very awesome but too much for me. I also saw the railmaster my AD had and that was EVEN bigger at 50mm, it was like wearing a snow globe on your wrist or a skydivers altimeter glad theyre repping it tho, wonder how it'll turn out

i'd dump the PT hands, gen crown fits on the PT tube and the MBK. change crystal for a T39, insert and pearl could go either way for PT. gen eta movement can be sourced for 90+shipping. Why use the MBK case? I priced out the PT with mods (prices rounded up in USD) 1665 from PT shipped $230 gen 703 crown $79 used/shipped keeping the PT insert and pearl MBK GW dial and hands $70 (not sure about shipping $ gonna guess $10) Tropic 39 superdome from Clarks $65 T39 from WSO $15shipped add used GEN spring bars if you wish $12 shipped total using the T39 from WSO: $404 shipped resell your DRSD dial from the PT case $25-30 $377 DONE. dont know if the MBK can be justified for the $165 more

T39 is correct, no? T19 is for 5513

so with the WO-T39 you cant use the gasket that comes with PTs 1665? could you sand the interior of the retaining ring a little to solve this issue? if not the exterior of the crystal itself?
