I have both cases and WM9 has a more accurate presence. MBK is nice, but too many modding problems with the retaining ring and recessing the insert, WM9 easiest to mod out of the box and the crown is already superb. My experience tells me if youre going to mod it up , even a little, get the WM9. the case you're looking at, does it have engraving on the rehaut?

I'd say the watch material pearl is worth the price, its a huge difference and is 1000x more durable than a homemade epoxy pearl. And you'll laugh at the ridiculously sized envelope they send that 1mm pearl in. I think it was legal sized.

Just to do what you want the minimum: caseback opener 1.20mm screw driver hand remover improvise with pen hand press, plastic baggy dial protector and a mouse pad for uncasing and a sturdy hand. Recommended set of tools for a flawless job (with some experience): caseback opener case vise set of screwdrivers movement holder soft lint free work pad finger cots bergeon 6938 protector presto hand remover nylon tip hand press rodico or rub off spring bar remover blower bulb and a set of tweezers thats a pretty serious kit that can acomplish most common jobs

I use some 3M scrapbooking double sided tape. works for me and easy to remove if you want it to be removed but wont come off if you dont want it to come off.

not bad maybe it's the angle, but is the date wheel centered? something like that would bother me if it werent.

Oh yeah, anyone know how to remedy a VERY stiff turning bezel? replace the click spring or bend it? or something more sinister? this wm9 subs bezel doesnt turn very well.

They are pretty nice, it's just the solid mid links as an inaccuracy that bothers me personally. And the dial print is too faint and not SL'd, I just cant decide if the datewheel print is good or not. i.e too thin. thats a nice one ya got there by-tor, how do you find the stock cyclops on yours?

Hey guys I came across a WM9v1 and was wondering what mods this puppy needs. The crown looks great, nice sharp teeth and looks to be correct width (better than the euromariner crown) CGs need doing The dial print is kind of faint looking so thats gotta go, WM9v2 w/superlume on hand with matching hands rehaut has engraving, but I dont trust myself to smooth it off, engraving isn't that bad. Crystal is nice and clear but the date mag kind of sucks, so Clarks 295 with C gasket coming in. bezel insert print is kind of fat, bezel teeth are kind of shallow SO WM9v2 bezel ring, retaining ring and GENUINE insert on hand Noob bracelet, WM9v1 clasp or noob clasp.... hmmm have both. Which to use? Date wheel print is kind of thin, how's it compare to the noob? should I sawp for a noob date overlay instead or is the thin datewheel print better? Nice but still VERY inaccurate, I often admire the gen piece in my local jewelers window while I pass by, the black rehaut is definitely an improvement...a small improvement BUT STILL.

awesome! transfer the hard drive over and Keep one console for legit online play (i.e CoD MWF2)with legit discs and the other for B title downloads that arent really worth a purchase or suck for online play. Myself I never really played xbox live anyways, so it's off to sell my wireless adapter on the 'bay to fund MORE rep purchases thanks Microsoft. It all works out.

P4GTR: apparently forza3 has nothing to do with the wave of bannings but MS has figured out a way to read the drive firmware cause consoles that are modded but havnt even played a backup are getting banned. I never play pre release titles or games i havnt personally backedup and checked with abgx but tonight I spoke too soon and the irony was on me, I too was banned tonight. Let this be a warning to all modded 360 owners on this forum. Stay off xbox live for now until they figure out exactly whats going on and how to circumvent it. Cause your drive firmware alone will get you banned Oh well no more advertising aimed at my hard earned cash no point in waiting either , might as well go play COD MWF2 pre release

CANT WAIT FOR MODERN WARFARE 2!!! NOV 10th! Mickey: new 360s shouldnt have this problem as they reduced the die size which was the cause of over heating. Oddly enough PS3 uses the same processor just beefed up with multiple cores. All my friends that have 1st gen PS3s all crapped out with laser problems not reading discs, they used it for game play and blu ray movie playback and sent it to a certified Sony center which charged them $80 to fix it. So i dunno I also find the bluray movie playback on the PS3 to have color banding issues and jitter, its just over all average. Buy Panasonic never had a bad product from them in 30years.

I'd double check those numbers as the Wii has out sold it 2:1 and 360 has sold 4million more than PS3 as of November and the holiday season will only amplify this gap. im only speaking from experience with my Sony gadgets as are you. But any gadget is not as good as it's user since I give the same light treatment to all my electronics and the others have outlasted every Sony product, I even use UPS for power filtering. As for buying adapters or having workarounds to use third party memory or adapters, well I shouldnt have to, thats the point. My gripe is with sony as a company and their shady practices and the quality they offer compared to other products of similar or cheaper pricing, I have Toshiba, Yamaha, Samsung MUCH better in terms of performance and guess what, NO stupid Sony proprietary garbage or electrical/design problems. and why did PS3 remove backwards compatibility with PS2? to improve their bottom line and make those poor performing sales easier to swallow.
