problems with the current MBKs severe lack of quality control and dealing with the "watch nazi" (nah piek) who sells them.
in manufacturing most batches will have a 3-7% defective rate, his is more like 30% , but dont try and tell him that "NO WATCH FOR YOU!!!"
and im not talking small defects either, things he has no shame about selling with a straight face.
no phong is

yeah its from the bending of the wrist (wearing the bracelet loose) and the rubbing of metal on metal accelerated with wrist sweat and dirt that wears away at it.

instead of filing it all i did was buy a used $10 swatch auto off ebay that comes with this feature in their 2841 movement, removed the keyless and put it on the 2846, sorted!
the seller:

dont wanna over sell it, its nothing you guys havnt seen before, just building a 1665 right now, various gen parts and rep parts, just another cool looking 1665 to add to the bunch once its done
wouldnt worry about the clone movements bringing the industry down over night, theyre pretty inaccurate as is, a novice can see the differences pretty much right away.
ive always used this to restore the brushed look and it has always worked for me each and every time. its great for removing scratches from the brushed finish as well

side view coming up
i ll try and get a price on this one, or at least for the case set and dial. might be awhile though my contact has left over night.
screws on half way but wont go any further
if i can somehow retap these threads i could maybe use it? but i dont know the tap size and its probably over $50 with no guarantee of it working.
