maybe one of the forummods or admin can chime in....the buyer does not know the weight I hope. This is normally on the receipt of the sender when shipped. It can be a nightmare, I agree....that is when I ship, I make a video of the box, watch ect. on a scale so that shows the weight which will also be on the receipt...The buyer has to prove the box was the same weight but empty and that will be difficult.
just check the shipped weight with the received weight, very easy as for international post, the parcel will be checked for weight when it enters another country. If the weight does not match, the watch has been taken out during shipping. File a claim about a repaired watch at the shippingcompany.
Same here....just love vintage and inspired by this thread I decided to get a 5513 case from Sead and build my own....having a lot of swiss spare parts which I got form a friend watchmaker who passed away, I have to check and organize about 30 moving boxes 😤. Most is not organized so it will be a hell of a job but it's like a treasure hunt....exiting. Already discovered Omega, Tissot and Rolex parts between the rest.
I keep getting back to this thread....being a nonRolexguy for years, this made me flip....amazing care for details into Xtreme i might say. Hats off sir.
No way back now,...got a 005 about 12 years ago and was hooked.....127 036TI, 212, 187, 188, 113, 196, 210, 212, 308, 249H and 250G followed.....
Sold a bunch but one of my weekly beaters is the 005
I read on RG or on another forum about the 116610LN differences between NOOB and AFR that the NOOB case and rehaut are better, ARF has the best dail, SEL,
bracelet, bezel and crystal. Don't know if this also goes for the 2017 single red.
Have to admit I bought a "lowball" Pam 005 with a gen A21j back in 2006....for about 100 bucks. Even today it is still running and keeping reasonable good time ( off min 2 min/day).
