I notices a thing like this a while ago when a post by Victoria was bumped, i thought that some one had added to the end of it but the last post was a couple of years old, only the originator can bump it with out posting but she had not logging on a year or so, or will it get bumped if some one edits a post within a thread??
Edit, BT explains above, I assume he bumped the Vic one then
It happens, it is just part of lifew just as we pick up a few knocks and bruises along the way so will you watch, annoying but as Forest Gump said
"Shit happens"
Gen ingy on a Jacob Rameres hand made crock strap
For a special night with my mum and my 18 year old god daughter who has flown all the way from New Zealand for my 40th on Sunday
I wind the watch forward with no hands fitted, until the date changes, (a few times to get the feel of just before it clicks over then when i have the date just about to click over i fit the hour hand at 12, i then repeat and fit the min hand and refit until i get it as close as possible to 12:00 midnight, then i fit the seconds hand where ever, I have never had a mechanical watch where the date changed at 12:00:00 not even my gen IWC/omega's/others. So i don't dwell on the seconds hand.
on an auto it does not matter at what point you fitted the seconds hand as long as it clears the others and they were lined up with the date change at 12 midnight, on a quartz it is a pain trying to get it to line up with every second mark or a chrono getting it to line up with 12 perfectly
Not picking the rep at all TT i am just not sure about the gen it was built from, the rep its self is cool for the price, i think a few will be bought just for the bracelet as well!
