I had 2 Ofrie pearls and PMWF inserts on the two 1665 i built, they wont age that is for sure, the pearls really glow well out of the box but you could soak then in alcohol and then refill them, if you are ordering some in i may go for one for a rainy day, I am sure the more we order the cheaper the shipping gets.

Oh this old thing today, bit od a snow shot to remind you all of winter

No real changes to be honest, i had a little time in hospital for a knee op but i ran 5km non stop this morning in about 23 min so that is feeling good. Still got the Ingy and got and SMP (black dial) in a trade the other week and i got in to vintage rolex quite deep quite quick, they are pretty addictive, On MBWs and modding already before you know it it will be NDT and then GEN, just like beer then cider and before you know it you are doing a bottle of Jack for breakfast. Good to see you posting though Oh because of you i tried on Laz's UN in brussels then a had to buy the rep, modded it but had to sell it to fix my bike, so stop tempting me with this one!

a 2824 should be what you need, a 2892 would be a bit better but pugwash had problems with the canon and pinion heights when he fitted a 92 to his, there is quite a long post about it somewhere.

Me too but at leasat once i have down loaded it i can keep it, always good for a second viewing I cant belive that that pick up was just left to rot! Top trip though, the things they get to do for that program!

The hands will not fit Olli and the dial feet will be in the wrong position, cousins uk do have a couple of gen dials for sale though and i think they have gen hands as well,

This is not the normal A21j that we would find in a sub based on the myota though, this is a seagull (forget the reference) 21j that you see in may other IWCs including the Pig pilot. Noisy rotor but a good movement.

It may just be a difference in the quality of the main spring assuming the barrel is clean

Once you have done it a few time you will know where and when the parts go back together and most other movements are similar so you will be able to do them as well.

it is nice, i have worked on one, the power reserve works and shows 7 days but it will wind down to zero in two days, date wheel is a little low. But a nice watch
