Your right for that price you should expect it to last, I am sure that modern goods like that have a built in clock that means they break down just after the warentee runs out

Ok one question and one statement Question, can you post a photo of this 2846 with a regualator screw as the 2846 does not have one (or to put it another way i have never seen one with a regulator screw) statement, a 2846 is a far better movement for a DRSD as it has a slower beat more like the gen

If you have not done it before then start with a 6497 if you start with a 7750 then it will only lead to disappointment

I agree the setting screw has worked loose and the lever is not being moved when you pull the crown as the pin is not sitting in the detent
