  1. They mock my pain! Just had to pay for tickets to see the Wiggles, and apparently that wasn't enough so I had to pay for more tickets to see Barney. And then again for Dorothy the Dinosaur Show... Worst of all, I think I have to go see these shows....(is it bad form to drink during these performances?)
  2. Ah, a sweet antidote to all the nursery rhymes, Wiggles, Barney, Balamory, etc., etc.....zzzzzz
  3. Sorry to hear that. I got all the good luck today (Really! Had some great news!), you obviously got all the bum luck Have a good one!
  4. Whoa! That's incredible. Did they ever find the kid the sled belonged to?
  5. TT, you're ruining it for the children. It's flying....
  6. Great...only 8 posts and I'm already jealous of your collection Welcome!!
  7. That does make sense! That's far superior to the impression I had that you're walking around with a Post-It not jammed in your movement FlipLock, you can stop taking notes now.....
  8. I'm looking forward to the upcoming "Caution regards using Post-It Notes in watch movement repair" thread (I'm teasing) Imagine their faces if you took that to the AD?! Especially if they unfolded the Post-It Note and it is said "must remember: repair watch"
  9. I should add as well that a surprising number of the genuine sunglasses are crap. All fashion and no optics.
  10. Release the roos! elprimo's pic was actually of a Jehovah's Witness calling in just up the street from me:
  11. WOW! Got a great surprise today - as you know Ken was at the forefront of the RWG birthday celebrations and was generous to offer prizes from his own pocket as part of the prizes. As it turned out, I'd eaten several Weetbix that morning, and did rather well! And true to his word, Ken posted me a hat, a money clip and a mobile phone pouch - which arrived today. THANK YOU!! That was unbelievably generous. Suffice it to say that a small donation had already made its way to the RWG coffers. Of course, for those of you that have already purchased from BERGIE'S BELTS, Ken's stuff is excellent. Perfect for wives, girlfriends and mothers (okay, okay - also aunts, great aunts, cousins, and secretaries) because he always has the best packaging and papers for it too - they always 'feel' like the real deal. Even though the recipient knows it's not, it does make a difference believe me. Look at his Birkin boxes for example. Of special note, I have to say is the cap. We're used to rep brands, but I do remember reading about Ken saying that these caps were amazing, and I wasn't very moved because I'm not really into caps, and how impressive can a cap be? But I'll tell you what - the man was right, the quality is incredible. It's genuinely impressive - rep or gen. Thank you again Ken - I'm blown away by your generosity. Anyway - a pic of your cap being appreciated below:
  12. Fantastic news!! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  15. Commiserations The thing with getting your windows smashed as well is then you have to bugger around getting their ned brother to fix the window! It's a conspiracy, I tell ya!
  16. There's a more relevant guide in Ziggy's sub-forum, somewhere. Look for 2836's as well.
  17. Not yet....waiting for you to figure it out first! More seriously, just haven't got around to it yet. But soon...
  18. Do a search for this one - there a few threads covering this exact problem on the PO.
  19. This should explain everything: ....and so to cut a long story short now we have My Little Pony with Attitude
  20. Love it. My better half hates all the Bunnings ads so I think she'd happily 'deck' them too! Bunnings = Home Depot in the US.
  21. Maybe not the same, but one hell of an alternative! Hmm...let's see...2008... Ooh...decisions, decisions!!
  22. Thanks for the kind offers! Ziggy has not just offered the bit I need, he's offered the right bit (specifically that it's a Miyota copy), and I'm indebted for his help Cheers!
