  1. Sorry to hear that. Some good news on the horizon at least. Word is that as Hublot struggles to find new ways to rehash the Big Bang, that they're considering a 'Tesco' Edition with a marshmallow bezel.
  2. Yes I have one (I have an iPad too). This is the original Galaxy Tab, they have some new ones in the works. I think it's quite nifty, the iPad is great, but this is more portable and practical. Plus it was way cheap, it's a lot of gear for the money. The battery is good, just keep an eye on GPS running and so on. Better cameras than iPad2, but not great or anything. Screen is 1024 x 600 (not size suggested above), so actually has better pixel density than the iPad. Apple has better apps than Android (especially more HD ones), but you can get under the hood and tinker, which Apple won't let you do. NO FUCKING ITUNES is a massive plus. Has 16Gb memory, and can accept SD cards to increase that easily. Plays TV shows well (see no iTunes above!). Can do a lot of flash as well. Comes with satnav software, at least it did for me. Also it's kind of a giant phone, which has comedy value as well. Downside is that screen size and no honeycomb may mean it won't run all upcoming tablet apps. But has media playing, internet, email, sat nav and so on all covered.
  3. Likewise, can't wait!
  4. Welcome to the new and improved Shore Test Thread....! The thread dedicated to New Jersey-based reality television trivia.....
  5. The Dutchie I know definitely looks like a chick (old, old forum joke!)
  6. Good to hear that you're feeling a lot better.
  7. The Ingy is absolutely amazing, I love that watch. What the pictures don't show is how comfortably it wears on the wrist. IWC have made it difficult for you because the 3717 is also superb. You'll need both.
  8. Is it to do with the order of the watches?
  9. Chad has been 100% right on this. There's not even the slightest bit of moral ambiguity on the subject. I know it may seem odd for a forum like this, but a massive part of our job is to keep genuine sales clean. We're the guys reporting the fake ebay sales or stopping people passing them off as genuine. We call a spade a spade. This forum's policy is that you'll get cast out with pitchforks if you even take a rep to a dealer, let alone try to get a certificate of authenticity on it. I'm absolutely shocked and appalled at not just the suggestion, but the eagerness of some folk to take up the challenge. There's a pitchfork and baying mob waiting for those that do. Let people that buy the real IWC watch enjoy them, and don't rip them off with undeserving certificates. Concepta's watches are the absolute best of the best of their kind. I lust after them. But if they were real watches, they'd be sold as such. But they're not genuine IWC watches. Respects to the OP who didn't ask for this can of worms in his thread, he'll be getting a grand watch which he'll love.
  10. I'm also confused on this front. If it's capable of legitimately receiving a certificate of authenticity, why sell it as anything less? Is the case genuine?
  11. Cheers TT, we'll have to break bread soon! Love the Pez dispenser idea, just the level of class this timepiece deserves
  12. Thanks everyone! As you will see I selected a timepiece that truly encapsulated the depth of WIS knowledge I've imparted through the years. "Shaky watch. Work. Good! Shaky watch. No work. Send Canada!" Many thanks! The 10000th post watch will feature diamonds and a tourbillon. I'm sure Angus will be very keen to stock it. @KB I didn't even recall price post Ken! That was a graph for the ages!
  13. To celebrate 5000 posts of awesomeness I am pleased to announce production of the Cornerstone 5000th Post Commemorative Timepiece. Happy Easter everyone!
  14. Great stuff TeeJay! (And Maxman ) Argh, not stuck on the 'Iceland' diet I hope mate! [Totally off topic looked up their site and this made me laugh: http://www.iceland.co.uk/page/view/royal_wedding "celebrate the Royal Wedding in style with Iceland". (Probably a UK in-joke)]
  15. It's one tourbillon for the week, and another for Sunday best
