  4. Hey guys... I have an asian fish in the better swiss case...i picked up a creme dial and recently installed it...quite honestly, prior to the dial change, i didn't wear the watch much to know if the movement had a problem or not... no issues in removing/replacing the dial and hands and getting it all back together...it looks great...at first it stopped between 40-45 secs, but i thought it was just a breakin kinda thing...i then wore the watch an entire day and it didn't stop once...after letting it sit over night, she stopped in this spot... now - it seems to stop there quite a bit...i have also wound it and the rotor does work freely...but for some darn reason it stops almost in the same place - whether i wear it or not... the hands don't appear to be touching each other and time (minutes/seconds) hand location does not affect it...the movement is a highbeat asian movement (not sure if its a DG4813 or not) and the second hand sweeps great when she runs...it just seem to get near the 40-45 mark and hangs there...stopping the watch... and advice on what is causing this?...i was thinking of breaking the watch down again and refitting the hands/etc - but not sure if this is futile or not...it's odd as sometimes it will go for hours and sometimes she just stalls out...no pattern... i realize i could always find and/or drop in another movement...but would prefer not to...just wondering if there's a movement "fix" or if the hands needs adjusting, etc... thanks...R

  14. thanks, Gary...all i found was a BS with gen Pro Diver II rubber strap from 3/17 or so...unless i missed something?!... i'm actually looking for a nice v2 DLC BS with standard Pro Diver rubber...

  16. i can second Hike's comments... i ordered some tools from offshore and had a problem with one...i sent him a pm to report the problem for his info only - i know stuff happens...but i've learned that without feedback how does one know how to improve...so i sent him a headsup and told him not to worry iwas just alerting him and that a replacement was necessary...i was also sorting out my next order, so i'd just order another then...i also suggested an item might be helpful in one of his kits...he quickly told me he'd replace the parts and was quite stubborn to do so...i told him "no worries"...well - he looked up my mailing info from my previous order and sent me replacement tools AND the one i mentioned would be a nice adder to one of his offerings... a truly class act and gesture...one of RWG's best!... 17. my two cents is that RG is inflating for false member perception and sponsorship deceit...why else do it?!... it's already been said that both forums have their place and both have informative, passionate and communal membership... but to me: RWG is more "mature" in all aspects...experience is at an amazingly high level - whether it be the knowledge of The Zigmeister and the other watchsmiths and/or modders - or - the detailed brand knowledge possessed by dluddy, freddy, andreww, ubi, etc, etc, etc, - or - the sexy women avatars and signatures - or- our badass fake watch brothers who know how to take out Somali pirates with fatal headshots in rough seas with techno weaponry... many of us have connected as "friends" - a horological band of brothers...i can't tell you how many sincere drinking sessions i've committed to hold with many of you should our paths cross!...and i know many of you would assist and support me in many ways...that's a notch above and defines community to me...it's why RWG will always be the best forum... kudos to the bedrock members and management of RWG...you've got a great clubhouse for us to hang in... 21. thanks, OS!...i've actually owned the BS with red/black hktan strap...but sold it when i had the opportunity to buy the old skool titanium Seawolf with gen dial...so now i'd like to bring one back into the rotation...and yes - some of it has been timing and some of it has been fund readiness...it's all about balance, ya know?!... R-
  22. hey R - yes - i pm'd you a few days ago...work has been boggin me down, so sorry for the lack of follow-up...i'll pm you...R
