  1. try Automatico on this forum. He has raffle Tudor casebacks (I sold him mine before) and could potentially get a photo for you.
  2. Great piece dropman! weird hands I must say, never really seen greenish tinge unless there are some corosion, best to have it looked it ASAP.
  3. Like I said, the 9411 I have is a late model which doesnt have the standard engraving font on the backcase like you would normally see on other tudors. It is original however. I'll see if I can do it in the new year.
  4. Sorry for late reply. A couple of bad news though: 1) Can't find my calipers 2) My 9411 caseback engraving is not the conventional version - these were later models so probably not the best to model off as they are thinner. Anyway to the photo, hope it helps somehow.
  5. looks great and thanks for breaking that down. Anyone know the origins behind the dial?
  6. Sorry caught up over weekend. Will look into it this week hopefully
  7. guys... the last time I tried, the raffles caseback does not fit the cartel cases. Can someone pls confirm? I will measure the caseback shortly
  8. great stride forward if you can pull this off. I have a genuine 9411 so will measure it over the weekend.
  9. great work! is it just me or does the bezel really stand out? i.e., looks bigger than usual... must be the photos!
  10. thanks Jack for clearing up the cartel 5513 now! good work and pls let us know what parts / source you are using! very helpful!
  11. nice - i'm withdrawing mine for sale. I just dug up the old thread and realise its likely from the sale batch. Different serials, etc. Worth alot more now too! hold on to it!
  12. Yeah thats the downside with mechanical watches - the service component of it is just so expensive. I'm not even wearing the vintage watches now as I know its just a wallet burn if it dies....
  13. I personally like the backward "z" but when mine showed up at a good price - who was I to argue. Not sure but I believe the service dials later on all have latter version of the dial
  14. for everyone's information: Dial is genuine, caseback is genuine, crystal has the right mag (not sure if its genuine though). The T125 cyclops is more to the right (to accommodate the eta movement) and it has weaker mag than the 1680 crystals. I have this version - the positive to this dial version is that it doesn't 'rot' like the previous versions. here's a pic of mine - notice the dial printing and cyclops. Also, the bezel insert appears to be fat font so probably not artificially faded? mine is a service insert and you can tell as the font is much thinner. Though those black streaks don't give me as much confidence haha
  15. 702 has a gasket sitting on the end of the crown tube - it often gets stuck to the inside of the crown when you remove the crown from the case.
  16. Sorry misread - 1520 are screw setting pins indeed.
  17. are you pushing down on the release pin as you insert the stem back in? Have a sneaky suspicion you may have messed up the keyless works here
  18. crown is not genuine the bezel insert appears to be aftermarket too
  19. great find! Show us some pics after its assembled...
  20. look gen to me also - the flat "3" on the endlink side the clasp photo looks sht though - cant see finer details... but $1.2K seems high for the condition that it is in
  21. you are lucky as fk that ppl on this board are nicer - You are on everyone's radar and we will make your life just as hard if you try to pull that stunt here on this board. There are way too many Aussies on this board also - take that as a warning.
  22. hahahaaha "it was my brother" please dude - Mods can we get the ban stick out again? I can just see this going down a bad path eventually....
  23. this can't be a cheap project..... can't wait to see the results though!
