  1. Yes, however, for a short period I found the UPO does shine ok, it's just over the longer time period when you notice the lack of longevity. Im waiting to get mine back, its geeting the AR, full relume, and the little feet chopped form the symbol, cant wait
  2. Looking good! With the AR'd crystal your on to a winner there!
  3. Nice shots as per usual Pix! Definitely something different about that kind of strap on the Militaryesque watches, certainly 'makes' the watch in my opinion!
  4. I know how you feel. Over here in the UK our NHS is in a mess, even though the amount being spent on it has increased considerably, it is where it is being spent that is the problem. And as for fuel prices......
  5. The date window looks too square, not sure about the case etc... but here's a pic for reference.
  6. I may be wrong but the date window looks the wrong shape.
  7. From what I have seen in pictures, only the Ingy has any kind of AR coating, double sided, with the blue tint. Pics of the AP and PP show no sign of AR.
  8. Yep that's a fake, and fetching a rather high price at the moment!!! Reported!
  9. I am so sorry to red this, my deepest condolences Laz. My thoughts are with you and his family.
  10. Go with the UPO. Unfortunately the SMP reps aren't up to the same standard as the UPO. Its a great watch, and can be worn in a variety of scenarios.
  11. Nice pictures. I have one of these, for the money they are very well made, and are quite close to the genuine! Wear it well
  12. The thickness of the watch is in proportion with the rest of the watch. So 16mm doesn't look too chunky or extravagant. It is an excellent replica, and no collection should be without one!
  13. Not sure what the watch is but the film is brilliant! Went to see it hoping that it wouldn't lose the essesnce of it's predecessing installments as many films do. However, I was laughing most of the way through it, especially the bit with 'me and 'you' haha Really well written!
  14. Mines off for modding at the moment. When it's back (hopefully beginning of november) Il post some pics. I's going to have relume, double AR, and the logo chopped, so it doesn't have the feet.
  15. It is the Italian Air Forces aerobatic display team 'three coloured arrows' There have been three commemorative PAN Chronomats, and this was based on the latest version that Breitling made.
  16. Welcome back Dutchy! Good luck with finding the discount bread at the local supermarket, should turn up after 11pm! hehe Uni will fly by, I cant believe my second year is under way already. Def have to catch up for a drink at some point with some of the other UK collectors in the holidays too!
  17. From another point of view, you can get an AR coating for the crystal. The Navitimer is a beautiful watch, and I would recommend it is bought with a leather strap. If you like the style of the Navitimer I would buy one, and get yourself on an AR run. If you want one out of the box that you don't have to tamper with, I would go with the advice above.
  18. Absoultely beautiful. It seems to really capture the essence of Breitling! Wear it well
  19. Yes that is indeed genuine, and a very nice piece!! Haven't seena rep of it, but can sometimes pick up older Breitlings from Blowers Jewellers in the UK. Probably a USA equivalent if do a search on google.
  20. Don't want to add to the speculation, but it would appear from his pictures that the crystal has double AR.
  21. I wore mine on a nighht out, and someone bashed their watch rather hard against the crystal of mine and it put a slight scratch in it. Day to day durability is fine, but any knocks aginst something abrasive and it does scratch.
