Is there a recessed pin on this UB7? all the guys are wondering on the board, because the crownguard look bigger than the usual 005, and so does the crown, which is more like gen standard......guys, I think this is maybe the 14th version came out of China, the latest, that is why it looks different than the ones that we have!!

moral of the story, perhaps the results are not that accurate. maybe 50%? as far as most people would know or acknowlegde, the sub is selling better than the dweller, or am I crazy here?
-
thanks, I guess I won't have to worry about this in any AR run for this watch then!
-
nice, where did you get it from, if u don't mind me asking?
-
Hi guys, did a quick search to see if I can find any relevant info on this, but was not able to find any. Can anyone tell me that on a gen seamaster chrono, does it have any AR? if so, is it single sided, or double sided? any help on this is greatly appreciate it, as I am looking into AR this SMP chrono that I have. Thanks in advance, as always.

Hi Bob, thanks for sharing that story with us. it was great. if only all of us can have that chance to show a sales person up.......but what you have described isn't so uncommon. most sales people are like that. the one you encountered just should've known better. bet he won't make that mistake again, if he is smart enough to learn.

ok chief, no problem. I'll be patiently waiting in the wings, you just let me know when, and I'm there!

Shazaam!! look at the bling on those bad boys. Congrats on the new acquisition and hope you enjoy all of them very much!

Hi Rob, if I remember correctly, did one of your papers that come with the shipment say that we should wind an automatic watch for maybe 20-30 times prior to wearing, and if it's chrono, to wind even more? did I remember that completely wrong? I've been winding all of my ETAs prior to wearing, God forbid the damage I am doing to all these babies, and that mystery 2824 that ended up being in my 1680 that you relumed, may just have that similar sound that Chris was talking about. I am going to stop winding immediately. And are there difference between let's say a 2836, versus a 2824? cause my 1665 which I think has the 2836, manually winds just fine. Any additional information on this is greatly appreciated again.

Chief, any drop outs? wanted to see if you can squeeze me in, or am I truly too late to the party?

Correct Cartier Santos Dial Project Part 2.
woody replied to rocket754's topic in General Discussion
Hi Rocketman, one other thing that I notice is that the rep numbers tend to be raised more than the gen dial markers. is this what subzero was trying to say? if so, just please excuse me for bringing that up again. But the dial on the gen has that flatter feel, where as the rep dial looks all 3-D on you......lol, am I crazy or what? I must be, it's starting to be late here in the midwest...... -
you have email, k2222. Thank you.

placing order and can + the HBB ceramic.. should I?

J, don't do it. I think you got enough movements and projects to play with. unless you have 7753 on hand....hmmmm for the price that it commands, I don't think it's worth it, but if you have the proper substitute goodie to go in there. that would be a tough call. I can see your dilemma, but if I were you, I would not do it.....hope that helps -
Good information to know about the how the gear changes on the chrono minutes, kind of fascinating if you ask me. I would love it if our reps do that too, but I guess we'll just be asking too much, won't we? I love the CWS, ever since it came out, that is probably why I love the blackbird so much too. I just may need to sell a few of my watches to fund for this blackbird rep...... PS. Anton, you wouldn't happen to have time that you can post a video of said movement sweep, can you? I just thought about it would be pretty cool to see this in action, since I hardly see those movement at a Breitling dealer, to be honest...

Everybody that have posted thus far, have pretty much said what I wanted to say and pointed out. I have wanted this watch for so long, and now they are finally making it. For a while, I actually have thought about buying a gen blackbird. now that it is out, I am back into that hesitation again. the bezel pearl reminded me of the SMP chrono. It looks to be hit and miss, depending on your luck. And that date window, it was how I fell in love with the watch in the first place, ever since from the Crosswind special models. But like others have said also, what if you have some misaligned date issue? I hope that The Zigmeister can fix those too. But this is one area where using a standard good ol' ETA parts paid off. If the date cannot be realigned by a watchsmith, then we would be in trouble. For some reason, the movement actually does not worry me this time. Sure it is still an Asian, but after The Zigmeister's review, the worst one can do is to send it his way for a service, and it may be ok. an ETA replacement movement for this (which I don't think they make it, unless you buy it from Breitling) is just too pricey. Getting this and having it serviced would be the best route. hmmmmmm, this or possibly the iphone? drives you nuts when there are so many things you want to buy right?

count me in for one lello. good job! any word as to approximately how soon will one get one in hand? sorry to sound pushy, but that is only because I have my swiss BCE out at The Zigmeister's right now. If you can provide possible date of delivery and its estimated price, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

congrats guys!!

Movement review - A7750, running seconds at "3"
woody replied to RWG Technical's topic in General Discussion
Hi The Zigmeister, thanks again for such informative post. The time that it takes you to take all the photo, load them up to the PC, then edit them for us to read, is no small work. Thank you for all that you do. Despite that we are (I know I am) all learning about watch movements and its intricacies, your post is nothing short of amazing. Thank you time and time again. you are a valuable asset to this forum as always. what would we do without you? -
Hi Rob, welcome back, hope you have some good time off. i've shipped the goods as promised. please feel free to get the lowdown on the email I sent you. too bad you were not going west a bit more, like others that have echoed, I would definitely wanted to meet you in person too. and look forward to the reviews as well. glad to have you back!

which dial did you get? care to show a "special" pic?

Hi Rocketman, actually, I can barely call it a mod. But the deployant was very loose on my original watch. whenever I twist my wrist a bit, it would flop right open. so that was bothering me a lot. I notice that the watch has no lume at all I think, or if I even remember well enough, the lume was not that great at all. I sent it off the Zigman, along with some other project watch at the time, and asked if he can just fix those 2 problems. The zigman come through with usual fashion and fix that buckle up nice and good, and I was happy that he relumed the hands, because Rob used to have a policy of not luming any blue hands, because of some chemical reaction he says. so therefore I was happy that he did lumed the hands for me. But he did do it, and it looks better than before. I certainly wish I have a good dial, as my current dial has I think one of the worst dials that are out there; it has a swirl patten, kind of like a MOP dial almost. And I really have not worn this watch much, probably due to that bad dial. it's sitting in my watch case right now.......if the dial turns out to be good, that would be really good. other than finding a good case back, since my caseback does not have serial number, unlike some others, then it's off to finding a good strap and we're in business!!! can't wait for the prototype......did you ever sell your BCE? I am about to send my swiss one off for some mods by The Zigmeister.

Wow Mario....... you know I have a Santos, and we've talked about this in a few topics already too. Just as I was getting ready to trade away my somewhat modded Santos, you come up with this dial? you must like to torture us besides those dandy photos. do we know how close the dial will be compared to the gen one rocketman? and now that you are doing this, my interest had piqued again, feel free to PM me or email me if you don't like to share the details, but yes, I would be interested.....
