Chad, dealers are not all "infallible", I just wanted to point that out. Just ask Sichuan.......if you provide bad service, people will talk about it. Originally when Sichuan started, he was endorsed somewhat favorably, with his prices, but when his service dropped, people started talking, and he went into the can, just like that. And the admin do a great job to make sure that we are not scammed. So I would say that no dealer is invincible, if Eddie is really doing a bad job to multiple people, people WILL talk, and that is a guarantee. But again, sometimes things can go wrong, like Eddie said in the public post, and that is out of his control. Given the hobby that we are in, I think patience is a virtue, and a must. Just be happy you were not dealing with Paul and his crazy sale back then. Please let us know how it goes for you in the end.......

Gee, This sounds familiar doesn't it? We have a guy that said that he is wrong, then said why he thinks he wasn't wrong, and in the process of it, screw with people's time. If you said you are a man of your words, then why are we here? Your apology is half assed, and, just like Ethan said, it really does not seem to be all that genuine. The point Kostas has said, it's not about the money, this coming from a man that has bought real Pams. He really went out of his way to tell you everything. Just looking at the list of questions that he asked you astounds me. And if you are not sure about what your watch smith is going to charge you, why don't you inquire ahead of time? If you bother Kostas so much, then bargaining of the last few dollars really should not even matter. Just my opinion. You kind of reminded me of someone, whom had previously screwed another member on the forum on a watch deal, then came on to apologize, and to this day, he still did not provide a solid reason as to why he dicked the other member in the first place.....

Hi Rolex, Yeah I hate my gap issue. I have sent my BCE to Zigman to fix it, along with my datewheel issue. I do not remember that I have the crown issue, so I think your crown may be an isolated issue, and you may need to check with the dealer on that. Sorry I do not have more useful information at this time.

I am sorry, but that camera work can certainly improve, and I am trying not to rain on your parade. but you could have a AP or a Chanel ladies watch, and I still would not be able to tell the difference in your picture.

Remember it was once that the 187, 196, all seemed to have a fixed price when they came out. It will come down I think, because I think that since this is not a let's say, 2892, or swiss 7750. those seemed to have a steady price. anything else, seemed to all come down at some time. If we are concerned about pricing, just hold it off, or when Paul, or Jay (like Coolfire said) get their claws on them, then the pricing really may differ, who knows?......but it is a possibility, one can dream, right?

which problem are you referring to Rolexman? the bracelet or the datewheel? the datewheel is just slightly off, not too bad. are you looking at that nice picture of mine? =)

Hi guys, Thank you for your feedback. I have enclosed a picture to what I was talking about, as you can see in the watchbox of what may be the gap issue that I was referring to. And for Marty and your suggestion, I had ran through the 31 day cycle. And yes, my date in the window looks slightly higher. I am just curious to know whether or not this is defect that I receive. I love the watch, but when you paid the swiss money, you tend to nickpick a bit more like I do. Take a look at the picture and tell me what you guys think........the date would look align just fine when you do it through the crown, but when it is doing itself automatically, there seems to be the problem. PS. Please excuse my photo taking skills and the bad fingerprints on the watch......

Hello watchmates, Upon receiving my BCE today, I notice my date window is a bit misaligned slightly. Wanted to know if this is common among others' BCEs. Also, on my bracelet, the bottom part bracelet (the one end at 6 o'clock) seemed to be able to bent more at an angle, thus creating a gap deviate from the watch itself, whereas the other side of the bracelet doesn't do this, of which also sits higher to the watch, versus the one with the gap symptom. I wanted to know if it is common also with the other BCEs as well. Mine is the grey swiss version. Hope my question was clear enough, that perhaps I can get some feedback. Thanks in advance guys.....

Hi Szumi, Thanks for the clarification of your pics. In yours, we can definitely see the contrast of the grey dial and its black subdials. I got my orange slip, as I missed my mail carrier. But I will hopefully pick it up before I go to work, and size it, and bling it all the way to work.....
