Hi guys, so a while back I purchased a Masetro Historic black calf. Upon receiving the strap and mounting it, I can't help but notice the smell of the strap. it has a much stronger scent than any of the straps that I own, and it is downright annoying! I can be typing on the keyboard and still smell the strap from that far away. Is there anything that I can do to get rid of, or to shield the smell of the strap? I do like the strap that I would like to wear it again, but so far, it has been such a put off because of the smell. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Come on Kostas, give us a detailed shot of the back, and show the dealers what they can do for us in the 10th revision of the Swiss/Asian 112! =)

I was told last week by a little birdie (dealer) that 194 will be out in possibly 2 weeks, but..........it's not titanium. It will be stainless steel finish. We'll see if the little birdie is right on that.

what we are trying to say, sam, is that, if you really do have trouble getting hold of Narikka, then air it here, before you go to paypal. it does not matter whether you actually file the claim or not, by getting paypal involved, you get narikka in trouble, which in turn, paypal can audit his account, so on, so forth. it is not cool. you could've even post in dealer review as an inquiry, or post in general discussion section, instead of going to paypal to have them "HELP" you deal with Narikka. do you now get it perhaps? I really hope you did, because what you did, whether it's for $5, or for $500, is not cool either way. Please straighten this out. Thank you.

maybe the fiddy was already defective like this when you receive it from the board member? although unbeknownst to what can cause it, if you send it in for service, it should take care of it. my asian fiddy was running over a minute slow, I sent it in for service and now it is very accurate. you should ask the seller again what was the condition when he had it. good luck

at over 6 mins, I think that the swan neck regulator must be not functional, and it is just for show. I really don't think any of the regulators work, I think they are all non-functional, to be honest. but once you get it serviced, it will be working very well. be sure to tell PT about it, and he may be able to reimburse you with the service costs.

I'm in as well, I just don't know how we can get DW to actually come through with this. the dial, along with the not so great strap, poses the biggest challenge to any rep santos 100. But I'd be interested to see how it plays out. Good luck.

Trunk, that lume "job" is really good. Whether Rob did the lume or not, either way is great. The only thing that I can think of that can lead towards the rep, is that hour/minute hand assembly. There appear to be something off. If it is a gen, I'd say send it to the dealer. And come to think of it, if you get the crown from Joshua, pin and lume fix by zigs, you already are very much there. We can always see the shot of the back, that would be the end all be all, ready to reveal? but from the front, it looks great! regardless of gen or not.

you got the bases covered, that's why trunk. although I am getting a deja vu feeling that I had asked you if it was gen before.....lol. The crown and crownguard looks good. no recessed pin. now if you will show me some AR crystal shot, or a lume shot, we may be really able to tell then....

I think those of us that have sold watches to other members can sympathize, when we see a big ticketed item. At least that's how I feel. But at the same time, I also think, "well, this is kind of none of my business" so it's kind of a catch 22. I want members on this board to get a good deal when they see something, but I also don't want to ruffle too many feathers, by telling the seller, why are you "kind of" ripping people off? it's a touchy subject overall. although, I guess some members do not know how the prices have been falling, so I have to give everyone benefit of the doubt here.

May I suggest 176H, V? Titanium base logo is hot! They have a classic look, yet not "too" common. I wanted one at this time, but not a whole lot of dealers actually sell them, only Joshua to my knowledge. It would be a great, great piece, and there are a lot of pics on TZ, so you can see how great it looks, good luck.

In my opinion Jacob the jeweler never have that much rep in my mind. I think anyone can make their watch blinged out and sell it to celebrity, but there is not much design of his watches, nor any true watch history for that matter. I can't really say I am surprised, given the social circle that Jacob could hang out with, I think he gets more exposure to trouble than other watchmakers.

Hi Rob, Thanks for the reviews as always, I was getting really worried, and after I kept reading it relieved my nerves a bit. Watcher's crown (2.1s) look pretty good, as that is the one that I ordered. Hopefully it won't have problems as I send to you sometime soon for the makeover. Now, if only I can find some spare set of cannon pinion and wheel set. Anyone offering any extra to sell to me, anyone at all? =) Have a good Friday everyone....
