After havind lots of genuine IWC, Panerai and other watches in my hands yesterday i can only say that we guys are SOOOOO ANAL about details. I saw some gen Panerai luminor marina models with the "L SWISS MADE L" close to the 6 or sometimes a bit further away... all sandwich dial. Also seen another IWC with crooked markers... and Ben tried a Aquatimer chrono in an AD where they put the clasp on... backside to the front so he couldn't close it

oh man... we had such an awesome weekend... Patrick, Dirk, Claude, Stephane and me all night clubbing and sleeping just 3 hours... while Taka, FrankW and Saso where modding watches untill 3 in the morning!!! Frank with the dremel in the bathroom working on cases, Taka was reluming etc... It was sooooooo cool.... and sooooo nerdy... and i loved meeting all you guys there PS. Sorry you couldn't join Andy, Eric and T ... we missed you guys! PPS. i think we invented a new term that is fully applicable...

Hi Ryaku... what aquatimer do you mean? I think the previous model Aquatimer that was repped was from the GST line and came in steel only (as rep). I think that one had an ETA2836 movement. The new Aquatimer is available as chronograph and thus has an asian 7750... As far as i know. there are no ETA2824 Aquatimer replicas...

Are you talking to me??? No kidding, but it was really good to finally see several gen Panerai to have some comparisson. The thing that i really niticed was that gen cases don't have any sharp edges, while the reps all do...

Today i had a gen PAM252 in my hands and that Kostas CG would fit sooo nicely on the ultimate PAM252 North Pole!!! The gen was awesome... same blue as the ultimate, also 60 click bezel (no rattling though), subdial was more recessed on the gen, magnification and lupe size are pretty much the same... i'm exited already as i plan to do the same thing with my Kostas CG

That seller owes me $240,- !!! He sent me a black alligator strap for my Monaco and it was the XL size, so i emailed him about it. He was kind of uninterested... well the story goes on for about 5 months and than he's not replying anymore... and the XL strap was sent back, but a regular size strap was never shipped to me again! I have all his personal info from Ebay... i can give them to you. Be very, very carefull ... i am stil thinking of filing a complaint at the police in the US which is kind of difficult for me. Unfortunately i'll be away for business untill thursday evening... That chronoswissprince... man, if i can get him in my hands!! If anyone wants to bust down his door and get back my money i'll split it with ya

I don't understand why you want to change the strap... It is a pushpin in the middle and when you press it the pin going all the way through can be pushed out.

I guess you're right about a gen mvt in the Ingy chrono, Logan... you did some great investigation on that one! I'm curious though... are all the graphite threated mvt's still running strong? Is there any news on that?

Congrats on a nice watch! I think Audemarsfan's IWC CD had a Ziggy lumejob... My CD has almost zero lume so indeed in the wee hours it's readable but during night it ain't. I think all CD's came with almost zero superlume.
