  7. Simply amazing!!! BTW...did you swap for a Gen strap? Cheers
  8. Well, it's not an easy task! Sourcing the parts is a bit of a nightmare, not to detract you from doing it, but just to let you know that the build won't be quick! Plus, what fun would that be right? Sourcing the 2893-2 movement is probably one of the easiest to get. Finding an EL watch is pretty difficult and not cheap either! 063 for example, a 2893-2 swap you would need DSN's GMT hands, correct! EL dial is most accurate, DSN dial is pretty sweet with the lume and the version on Josh's website is good. Sending you a PM...

  16. +1...Spot On...I couldn't have said it better! Being a watch lover, no matter the make & origin, that's the reason I'm here! I admire all watches and when expectations come into play you can be let down quite often. Realistic expecations are important!!!We're buying Reps and prior to purchasing a Rep, you have to take into consideration that the watch will not be perfect as it's not Genuine. Nothing really is "Perfect" in life anyways...so, in this hobby it's important to remember that if perfection is what you're after, then it's going to be forever an internal struggle. This hobby can get addicting and out of control like anything in life. Enough rambling though! RWG is a great place to discover watches, both Rep & Gen...and when dealing with Reps, knowing what the flaws are ahead of time help me prior to "pulling the trigger" on a watch and I guess you could say, equalize my expectations. Great post Lani!!! Cheers
  17. Really Nice!!! I have the black dial on the same strap...it's a great piece!!! Like you said, built like a tank
