Isn't there just a little spring that is responsible for positioning of the date wheel? Can't seem to find a picture of what I mean. To re-center the date wheel could you not adjust the keeper spring? Seems a little less....permanent.....if something should go wrong.
What a fantastic review. Very in depth with good pictures to back it up. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I will definitely refer to this when shopping for an SOSF.
Perfect. Looks like it put the work at just the right height. Where did you get the arm rest pads? Looks like a pair of triathalon bars on there mmmm comfy.
Great review Ozenuub. Nice little walk through the history of the company and the model. This one has been on and off my shortlist many times. I think you just pushed it on again. Thanks for that
Quick question....how come posted in the other watch reviews section?
Yup. They are awesome. I have two. One with the standard buckle and one with the pig on it. At first I wasn't sure about the pig buckle but it has really grown on me. I think what struck me most about the H18 straps is the sheer size of them....much bigger in person then in the pictures. The buckle is just massive, almost as big as the watch head. Next is the quality. They really look the business. The stiching is just perfect. Overall effect really steps up the look of the watch!
Going rate for a gen dial I'm afraid. Diamond castle is the ebay place for gen Breitling dials. I haven't bought from them myself but most report back with positive feedback.
Quite a game just now. I was expecting the US to pull it out after the last minute goal and carry over the momentum into the overtime but quite a display buy Crosby and Iginla.
Go CANADA!!!!!!
Why not try some dial dots between the movement and the dial? Might be enough to give you the clearance you need for the date wheel with the case clamps tightened down. I have not tried this myself, just an idea.
Definitely a great game to watch. Team Canada was certainly playing well but 3 penalties in a row and Miller between the pipes in the US end really put a damper on their progress. Not to mention Brodeur was not exactly on his game last night. All in all a great game. Looking forward to more.
Looks nice. A shame about the reliefs between the lugs. Overall the case shape is very PAM like, sans crown guard of course. Now get a lume shot up there so we can see where this watch really shines....pun intended
Great to see the detail behind the rule. In my mind it looked kind of like that., but seeing first hand is the best. Thanks for posting that Francisco.
Very nice review. Great pictures. When I started out into reps, rollies for me were...meh! Then, on a whim, I got one of the cerachromes (in black) and WOW! Lovin it! Your pearl looks better than mine though. I'm working on it Thanks for sharing.
Top notch as usual Francisco! How does a non-worn asian pinion look compared to the ETA part? Any notable differences in quality? Based on the pics it look a tad more robust...not sure why though.
