  1. Too many things to be thankful for, for me. Live in a great place - have a wonderful wife, lots of good friends. Lucky to be who I am. And of course love RWG, like so many of us. Klink's avatar used to say 'Life is Good', and he is right. Count your blessings.
  2. Nice choices. The rubber strap on the Pam is one of my favorites.
  3. Here is a shot of my MBK. Genta perfection. Best rep of all time...IMO.
  4. Well along with Mr. Abat there are two Aquanaut's in this thread. Notice the differences in date window placements. A very nice 42mm sport diver...I love this watch.
  5. I agree that the watch looks good enough to be gen. As I mentioned I have handled the real deal in 36mm, and felt this 42mm model to be a much more appropriate size. The gen at my local AD sells for 17,000.00 My watch is definitely a rep. Purchased from a fellow collector over on RG.
  6. Nice. Eight IS enough. Like others here I have way too many. I wear the same three or 4 only. Some I never wear, but hold on to them for some sentimental reason I guess. Your reviews sell more watches on this forum than any dealer offerings, that's for sure. Wear them well.
  7. Had to add these two beauties of mine to this thread. My new Aquanaut really measures 42mm, has the sapphire case back, and really nice rubber strap and ss clasp. It is an asian 21j, and not MBK. The date window is incorrect, but the dial and indices are very nicely done. It is light weight, and fits the wrist really well. I love the larger size. My MBW/MBK Nautilus is absolutely without a doubt the best watch in my collection. I recently handled a gen 5711G, with a croc strap, and OF COURSE it was a perfect watch!!!, at a mere 32,500.00 but... my MBK jumbo/black dial ACTUALLY compares to the gen in fit and finish...believe it or not. Proud to wear them both. GENTA DESIGNS RULE!!!
  8. Recently purchased this nice 42mm PP Aquanaut. Couldn't pass it up for the price. It has a very nicely made case, and the rubber strap and deployment clasp is spot on to gen. I have seen a few Aquanauts at local AD that were much smaller than this piece, more like 36-38mm's and I didn't really like them all that much, but this one at 42mm, looks and feels great on the wrist. Nice dial deliniation, well aligned indices and coloring, good lume etc. however the date window placement and font are not accurate to the gen. That being said, it is a handsome watch.
  9. Just this ol' thing for a few days.
  10. Check lanikai's post in Breitling area dtd. Aug 24.
  11. On www.Mens Style website, check out the most popular Mens chronos selections. A few of our favorite reps are represented.
  12. Graphics Artist/Designer. Small business owner/operator.
  13. I have to agree that the Heritage is one of the nicest reps of 2008. The OR strap and clasp is a beautiful thing. Thanks for the great photos.
  14. Pretty much all my unworn watches are hidden gems. 17 of them. For the most part I wear just 3 or 4 on a regular basis of the 21 I own. Why don't I sell them? Some I will never sell, like my 6265, my red sub, my PN. A bunch of nice omegas. But the rest I guess I hold on to them because they are asian 21J for the most part, and I don't think trying to sell them is really worth the effort. One of these days I will do an updated collection photo, and maybe if anyone is interested in one or two pieces I will do the RWG raffle. After all, isn't keeping those oldies but goodies what 'Collecting' is all about?
  15. Here are a couple of my original rep purchases. They don't get much wrist time, but I doubt I will ever sell them.
  16. I only own one Breitling...but IMO this watch is the most beautiful Diver in the world. Sorry about the picture quality. But you get the idea. Doesn't need a tach or a slide rule to be a nice Breit.
  17. Right on Dani. Hope he goes to the BIG house.
  18. The cartel guys are offering the 'new' dial with the 'a' alignment problem fixed. Getting it in an expeditious manner may be another thing however. I ordered the OR strap almost two months ago and still have not received it. Evidently there was a problem in production with the clasp, and the factory has not re-released the strap yet. When ordering from these guys you may want to make sure it will be shipped sometime soon. Nevertheless the Heritage is one beautiful watch. I have compared mine to the gen in my local AD and the reps are pretty much perfect 1.1.
  19. Blue dial? I don't think so. Black is beautiful...see for yourself. This is the 'old' model. With the 's' and 'a' problem. Not a problem for me. The Heritage is one nice watch.
  20. I tried to order the 24mm mesh for my Heritage a month ago, and was put on a waiting list ny 'Time Design web site. No idea when it will be available. The 24mm mesh from Lonestar comes only in the larger sizes (120mm) plus, not available for small wrist guys under 115 mm. Kinda hard to find right now. But good sources for BIG guys.
  21. Man oh man do I love this watch. Just got it back from The Zigmeister, and now it is awaiting the OR strap to make it perfect. IMO the Heritage is the most elegant Diver available. The beauty in this dial is bottomless (so to speak). The gold color of the indices sparkle in the sun like nothing else. At 46mm the manner in which the case is constructed make it sit on my 6.75'' wrist as nicely as any 40mm that I own. I highly recommend this piece to anyone who enjoys wearing sport divers.
  22. Duh, how about the most beautiful watch in the world? Patek Phillipe Nautilus. How square do you need? 42mm x 9mm the perfect watch for ALL occasions.
  23. My MacBook rarely leaves my side. I am typing on one this instant. Best available IMO.
