  1. I was going to say this but if he gets a new movement he still has to pull out the new stem and place it back in without ruining the new keyless!
  2. OK then ... Mrs King has all 4 colors of Steelfish in A21j ... Black, White, Dk Blue, Medium Blue ... http://kingshowbox.com/goods-4093.html
  3. Daniel Craig as James Bond wears a Planet Ocean in all of his movies. SO there are PO models (Gen and Rep) which have the 007 logos on them.
  4. Hi rsea .. Quite by accident (I was going to look at what WBK had in stock in the USA) I noticed you have just become a trusted modder over at RWI, and I love the pictures of your available models. I hope you do very well in your new custom-order vintage PAM business.
  5. Yes that is an A21j movement, and I assume you did not break it .. but you might have thrown the keyless works out of adjustment. That is a very easy thing to throw out of alignment. It's the series of arms and cogs which let you wind the watch, set the time, and set the date all with one stem .. it's like a little transmission. I will bet you can not get the watch to come out of it's HACK position, thus it no longer runs. It is not broken, but it's not aligned and operating.
  6. Im very glad you are pleased.
  7. The best SteelFish only comes in Swiss ETA, I believe. No clones. PureTime Steelfish options
  8. It is incredibly rare to have a watch seized by US Customs, and if it is seized, then a good, reputable dealer will send a free replacement. It's not illegal to own a replica watch in the US; it is illegal to defraud a buyer with a replica watch.
  9. Invest in a can of "air duster" and some good automotive quality microfiber dusting cloths .. that will kill all the fingerprints and dust specs. I still find it hard to believe that this pic is an iphone shot at dusk in my back yard .. so when someone says "Oooh please forgive my crappy iphone" ... uh no .. forgive their poor preparation. My only regret on this pic was not noticing the streaks of sweat on the crystal.
  10. Replace the crown with Gen .. yours is very very thick. Shave the crown guards to be more thin as well. Bleach the insert carefully to avoid over-whitening .. and then tape off the crystal to protect it, place the watch in a jar of coins and roll it around in the coins until the case and bracelet are aged to your liking. It will take a long time. Don't use sandpaper .. many many parallel scratches (SANDPAPER) looks very fake.
  11. Crazy Hours, Color Dreams on a pink "leather" strap !!!
  12. YES! Thats a good one. It puzzles me whenever someone tries to sell a watch here using a terrible photo.
  13. Why not read one of the many macro photo tutorials written by Pugwash in his special LEARN TO TAKE WATCH PHOTO PICS AREA
  14. A press-fit tube could have an angled flange at the top, to interface with the watch case correctly. That was my line of thought.
  15. I agree ... I have a Donerix strap already (red/coffee cayman flank) and my 1950 sports a Gunny special edition 74 ... so vintage all the way .. thanks for the suggestions so far.
  16. I have two ... ROLEX ... too cliche! PAM .... too stupid looking. Now I have multiples of both .....
  17. www.PerfectClonesFor.me is one of the oldest most trusted dealers. You will not be sorry.
  18. I was thinking this exact same thing ... the case looks angled .. but I wonder why the tube is not shaped to compensate for this
  19. I dont know if I can agree .. a gen crown and high quality aftermarket tube make a replica SO PRECISE and solid feeling ... it really changes how the watch is perceived. You go from PLEASE DONT STRIP PLEASE DONT STRIP OR CROSS THREAD!! NOOOO!!!! to --->> SO SILKY I LOVE YOU That is quite a difference.
  20. The reason I care about this, is that grinding off the cyclops of a Clark's and re-attaching a new cyclops is an almost perfect solution for all the PT 1680 people out there with DWs and cyclopses out of alignment
  21. Ah! so sewn in then ... thanks a lot for the info. Who is a forum approved supplier of this buckle? (and I suppose a strap to go with it, if it's sewn in)
  22. The Ceramic Sub is the newest kind from Rolex .. the bezel insert is shiny black ceramic material, impervious to scratches. An LV sub is a green Submariner. Normal ... is a normal black Sub The GMT has 4 hands, not 3 ... it is bigger than a Submariner, and has some polished parts, instead of being all brushed metal .. the 4th hand tells the time in any time zone you set it for. It also has a shiny ceramic bezel insert. The different priced watches are identical in build quality, only the movement inside the watch is different. People on this Forum have bought from Times Shop .. that dealer is not a "bad" dealer here .. he simply has not applied to this forum to join it as a merchant. What I recommend for you, if you want a black submariner .. look on page #2 of that page I linked to you .. either the $48 A21j Sub or the $108 ETA Clone Sub .. GO HERE
  23. Here is the web site, directly, instead of a link to RWI ... Times Shop noobfactory special deals for RWI members There are Ceramic subs, LV subs, and normal subs on that page in A21j, ETA clone, and real ETA. Again, let me explain that Times Shop is a trusted dealer on the RWI forum, not here .. just so you understand.
