  1. I thought that might have been the service insert. Glad it's being used in a nice project!
  2. Should any of these parts look familiar?

  7. Wow! The C1 hands do look good. Good enough for me to consider buying another se and having them relumed to match! Hmmmmmm.
  8. +1 - Well said Ken. It cracks me up to see that stuff in the shout box...

  10. Congrats OSRep! Glad you got yours finished up! Great Watch! I really like your orange dial! Add's an additional pop! Mine says hello!
  11. Sorry for the late reply, I went from Rep AR to Chief's AR and then to Gen AR, so there were stages in the process, but the Gen one definitely had a much much more Blue Tint to it. But I hear that the newer ones have a more clear (less blue) hue to them...
  12. The seconds don't matter for alignment. You just need to have minute and hour hands lined up at the date change (if the movement has a date), if no date it doesn't matter where you line up the hands. Think about it, you can have the hands line up right at the 12:00 marker no matter where the seconds are. 12:00:15, 12:00:30, etc... Just make the hands line up at 12:00, that's all there is to it.
  13. Sounds like the beat is off (or maybe something worse). Take it to somebody and see if you can get them to regulate it for you...
  14. Looks like we're heavy into Speedmasters today:
  15. Congrats on number 1K mjmj! Still wearing the NOS SM300, I am working on getting the timing perfect, should be around +2, I'll know for sure in the morning!
  16. In case you want to save a little $$ I bought the BERG-30019 fro ofrei. But they don't have the same bend as the pair Redwatch bought...but they worked for me...
  17. Then I totally agree! I was working on doing a datewheel swap for one the 3717's I've had, and when removing the hands, the chrono hand dislocated from the tube. I ended up having the superglue the hand back to the tube! Lame!
  18. Are you talking about the chrono hand or the subdial hand?
  19. Here is a link to my PO early in development. The pics at the end of the post include gen dial, hands, eta date wheel and bezel. Hope it helps. click here for link
