I haven't participated in one of these for a while either...I put the Submariner crystal back on for a change to the GWSD 1665.

I've always placed the crystal gasket into the case, and press the crystal into it. I am not sure if that is the proper method though...

Hi Red - There are several Omega Boutiques that sell only Omega's. I went to the one on 5th Ave. in NYC. It was pretty cool. Omegas as far as the eye could see. I am not sure how they'd stay in business though....

I have a couple of scratches in the AR on my Chief crystal, so I was thinking about getting a Genuine crystal for it. I am just not sure if it will fit. Have you found anything that makes you think that it will fit, and what about the crystal gasket? Does the replica one work, or do I need to buy the real thing?

Hey Folks - Been a while since I posted, but had a quick question. I was looking to put a genuine crystal on my 4th Gen PO. Has anybody out there put a OME-SB3065 crystal on their 4th Gen PO? Did the original crystal gasket work, or did you need to use the genuine one? Any help is much appreciated!

I kinda like having a date on my watch....Seadweller has a date, Submariner has Date and no date options....why not do both? Same case same movement, just with date aperture or not...

I've got mine on one of these...Di-Modell Chronissimo I'll see if I can find a picture of it...

Great Post Freddy! From what I am reading - you did not have to do any case mods to accept the 157x movement - the only case mods you had to do were to add the work HEV correct? Did the case clamps works from the ETA movement - just toss out the retaining ring for the ETA and use the same clamps?

Sorry to thread-crap - but, this peeked my interest....would a 1570 Movement then fit in a MBW 1665 case without issue?
