  1. I just noticed that as well! Still not quite as bad as the 'MADE IN SHITINERAND' on some of the Rolex reps...
  2. It's not a difficult fix at all. If you can remove the dial and hands, you can reset the keyless works. With dial and hands removed, this is what you should see. Since you're working on a 5513 no-date, you may or may not have the datewheel installed under the dial; I've seen some instances where the datewheel is still present, even though the watch may be a no-date. So, I'll start with the datewheel: Press this spring in to release tension on the datewheel teeth: Lift the datewheel and slide it off. You should now see something like this: Check these set levers to make sure they are engaged properly: Chances are, one of these are out of alignment. A visual check should confirm that. Just re-adjust and you should be fine. Install in reverse order, and always remember to only use a 1.2mm screwdriver tip to engage the release button for the stem on these! Best of luck...
  3. Love the effect of that 1st pic, Hike! That avatar of yours also has me in a daze
  4. Lani- Funny... When I woke this morning, I was indeed thinking that nigiri sounded good. Then again, it always sounds good! Migge- That black dial looks killer! Very quality looking piece, which your photos capture well; you'd never know it was that good from dealer photos! O/S- Thanks for your insight. Based on your comments, it sounds as though servicing, etc is no problem? Thanks all for the input! Cheers, //ubi
  5. You and I both! Think it's that HI~CO connection at work again... More than just mere coincidence!
  6. Thanks everyone for all your input. The movement sounds to be a strong performer; I wonder what longevity will be like, and how servicable it will be? Think I might give in and try one. At the price point these are offered at, it's hard to pass up. Thanks again! Much appreciated... R
  7. Lani's generosity knows no bounds. I, along with many others have experienced it first hand many, many times. He is one of the great reasons why RWG is different from all the others...
  8. Indeed, that is a very elegant piece. 41mm... And that Pres bracelet looks sumptuous. How's the weight? I bet it's quite substantial?
  9. For what it's worth- You absolutely do get what you pay for. Also included in Zigmeister's price is the knowledge and experience that he has gained over the years from working on movements of all types. That alone is priceless in itself! Zig has done a number of service overhauls for me; everything from basic ETAs and Unitas pocket watch movements to my El Primero 400s in my Daytona. It's hard to find good quality these days and even more difficult to find someone that stands behind their work. Fortunately, we have Zig!
  10. T- Which has been the most interesting case to coat thus far in terms of results, finish and detail?
  11. Hike- Excluding the A7750 based chronograph models I'm looking for folks who have the model specifically with the PR indication at 12:00 and seconds at 6:00
  12. How's the 23j Asian movement performing in these watches? Any issues or complaints thus far? I'm curious to see how these fare for the long haul... And am finding myself intrigued by these... And tempted Thoughts and opinions on these watches (movements, or as a whole) are appreciated! And of course... Pics if you have them! Cheers, //ubi
  13. I love that part of your user name is in the digital display! The Aerospace has become one of my favorite Breitlings in their line up. One of these days, I'm going to have to get one...
  14. Bob speaketh the truth, to the T. RWG is a special forum, and there is no other quite like it. Can't wait to see this one in all it's glory, R!
  15. I should be seeing mine this week, at which point I'll know whether I can use it for a custom project or not
  16. For a camera, I use a Canon XT Rebel with 55mm macro lens. All pics are with the camera hand held; no timer or tripod. The images you see are sometimes a cropped section from a larger image resolution and resized to what you see. Nothing special.
  17. Dems- I thought it was Bike Mike?
  18. Learn something new every day! BTW, M- Those are some nice looking tubes! I can see a 702 style tube coming in handy!
  19. There are a number of 'sterile' dial and hommage watch options out there. Especially for the brand styles you are after. Try searching under Getat, Jackson Tse, hommage, etc. Should net some decent results... At least for the Panerai styles. Tourby has the Pilot and Breguet style stuff...
  20. Zig, I think what he might be asking is whether the transfer gears to move the 12:00 minute counter to 3:00 can be retrofitted from the A7750 to the Swiss 7750?
  21. Where's archibald? He'd know what to advise...
