Thanks, guys Unfortunately, the project hit some pretty significant snags; the case is the biggest issue, as finding the right example has proven to be difficult. First is the issue of the rehaut height; gens have a very low profile rehaut that I've not seen duplicated without modification. Second is finding a case that will accept a gen T116. I've not fount any that work well in that regard either. Last but not least, the 1675 is a rather thin profile watch. Much thinner than most of the existing cases that could be used as the basis for such a project.
The other point I had trouble getting my head around was the fact that gens were selling for around $2k US at the time. I had considered the idea of just picking up a gen and being done with it. However, I believe I opted to build a second El Primero Daytona instead
