  1. There are far too many on this forum who's taste and collections I admire. Lots of fine collectors and enthusiasts here...
  2. Great review, as always BT! This is an old classic that dates back 10+ years if I'm not mistaken (does that seem about right Tribal)? An excellent platform for modding...
  3. Probably best not to discuss this sort of topic on a public forum. Maybe it would be better to exchange ideas privately via PM instead...
  4. JF- I agree 100%. The bezel does make a very big difference! Overall, there are a number of different factors that could influence the feel or appearance of size of a watch. Also... Some of the rep cases are cut differently than gen... Which also impacts feel/appearance...
  5. Note: Newer case sizes may be larger in diameter- But this would be applicable for the new models recently debuted at SIHH 2007 (I'm currently researching that). Edit: Looks like there are no changes for the DJ/DD's for '07; only the new Milguass comes in a 40mm case...
  6. For a DateJust and DayDate, the gen is 36mm excluding the crown. The larger appearance/feel for the DD is a substantially heavier case (due to precious metal case construction), which is also thicker and has more substantial lugs.
  7. Yesterday, I decided to blow the dust off my 6265 and wore my DW frankenstein for part of the day... And then switched to my AP Jumbo- Today... I'm wearing my Nautilus Jumbo
  8. Ahhhh... The art of negotiation, eh doc? I love it!
  9. Good stuff, David! Looks great!
  10. I would be more than content with a vintage 7734 based Heuer Monaco... Even more so than with a modern 2894 based version...
  11. Or people can search on item 270145324534...
  12. Hey kruz... Is it just me, or is the 7753 187's case smaller in diameter than your Honpo?
  13. Looks like one of those Australian 7750's to me?
  14. Starting the week off with this one...
  15. DW- Great wrist shots! Lots of very nice watches in your collection! Of course, the SINN and the custom PVD 196 are, without a doubt 100% amazing, but that Christian Dior looks smashing on your wrist Seriously, thanks for throwing in some of the Mrs. wrist shots- Good to have some ladies' presence as well... Cheers! R
  16. Danke I must say... They are very fun to build...
  17. You got it! Very nice! Enjoying mine as well at the moment... On the right wrist that is... RO on the left...
  18. Not quite a tourb... But same concept? Almost?
