  1. These are great looking, very reliable watches. I've owned a Jazzmaster Viewmatic once, they make great dress watches. A beautiful gift!
  2. Glad to see the dial went to a good home, enjoy your Tudor!
  3. I still do believe it's a 6263. Look at this picture of Daniel Craig wearing his (more loosely, though), the watch-wrist ratio seems to be similar. Man, I need to source a 6263 bezel for my 6265 somewhere...
  4. 5514 non-logo, no doubt! Btw, beautiful picture of your 3717!
  5. +1 When you carry a sensible amount of watches (i.e. one that won't make you look like a dealer) in your carry-on luggage, they won't care either.
  6. Looks like a 6263, these aren't as tiny as most people tend to believe. The bezel makes them look bigger, especially with the black dial.
  7. Picture from last week's trip, but I'm wearing my 6265... as always.
  8. Am I missing something here? The SW500 is a V7750 copy, isn't it? What would be the improvement if they were using one in a modern Daytona, it's still no seconds at six movement...
  9. I love 16800s, actually I'm looking at matte dialed versions at the moment myself. But I agree with Ubi, this case is in really rough condition, I wouldn't go for that one. Here matte 16800 with B/P are somewhere around 4.500€+. Does anyone know why on 16800s the tritium in the pearl tends to age far more than the dial plots?
  10. Very nice! I doubt that this one will ever be worn though...
  11. God that thing is a work of art, I'm amazed, the hands look great!
  12. Cool, that's exactly the setup I would like to have as a counterpart for my 6265 sigma one day... not any time soon though, unless I win the lottery, of course, haha.
  13. Sure thing, will wait for his response, if he doesn't want it it's yours.
  14. Is that 116520 with racing dial gen? Nice collection, congrats.
  15. I'm currently selling a black gen dial here, drop me a line if you are interested.
  16. Yeah, I think he knows his way around the rep world pretty well. There's been a controversy about some domed T21 crystals of his that wouldn't fit gen Daytonas last week or the week before... He wouldn't be the first choice when I was looking for gen parts. That's actually the one thing I really hate about this so called vintage Rolex community. No matter how well respected dealers are, no matter what reputation they have, they might and will try to screw you over! I once bought a "gen" 6265 bezel from another long time member who's constantly selling pretty rare stuff there and it wouldn't even fit my gen T21 (way too large diameter apart from other tells). He did refund my money, even called me up and told me he did not know what had happened and that he was 100% sure it wasn't a fake part because he knew all of them ( I DID believe him on that one). This guy is constantly selling stuff over there for thousands of dollars and I am sure some of it is aftermarket and that he does indeed know exactly what is going on. You can not trust anybody over there, verify everything.
