  1. I must say mate... i think the jobs you have done have looked great and the added value of the budget makes these a stonking opportunity for guys to taste the vintage look for themselves without breaking the bank... Good luck
  2. Personally mate.... its such an subjective watch to wear that the only way is to get one and see how it feels.... I personally dont find them blingy either on myself or on others.... as for size I think you will find it fine in terms of diameter but possibly thickness might make it feel bigger than it is... However if you buy and you dont like it ... you wont have any problems selling it for near enough what you paid for it if indeed you dont get it all back... given many guys will want to avoid the customs risk etc etc .. I say just get it.... I think you will be pleasantly surprised And as a rep... then its one of the betterPAMs OTB mate
  3. Well IMHO mate its the mix of the 2 given the look on the gen... Why not send Z a message and ask if he wouldnt mind saying what he might use
  4. Thanks B, but as much as I would like to take credit.... its all down to Mike (W0lf) and Rob (Zig)... I just have the priviledge to own it and wear it
  5. So not only do you want it to tell the time and make you look cool..... You also want it to tidy up after you !!
  6. Oooooooooohhhhh !! You show off..... a sweet 305..... very nice Best paperweight I had was the Egi.... now that could hold down a picnic table in a force 8 gale !!! It even formed part of my daily work out !!!
  7. Dave always likes to show off his best dress watches..... whenever he gets the chance !!!!
  8. Different strap then yes I would wear it
  9. When I opened this thread I really wasnt expecting to find anything I would like... But I must say mate.... I am taking a liking to the design and look of these Nice And although other comment suggest it aint like the style of Breitling... I must say the design does make me think of the Bentley Motors latest offerings (Cars not watches)
  10. The Rads 45-47-48 are 27mm at the lugs.... the buckles vary.. If its a Rad BDR deployant .... then its 27/20 If its a Rad BA buckle its generally 27/22 or 27/24 (47s only) 26 will fit but there is a fractional gap.... 292... I would think is 27/22.... well I know its 27mm just not sure on the buckle size depends what the rep guys are doing... Rad 44 are 26/20, Rad 42 are 25/20 Rad 40 are 23/20 Rad 38 are 22/20 Gen 292 comes on a 27/22 Black Calf leather strap
  11. Great pics F Congrats on your new paperweight ;) It looks very very nice mate.... enjoy it and wear it well my friend Thanks for sharing the comparison mate....
  12. Blimey J... now thats a question Most of the strap guys can do this and provide a buckle... really comes down to taste, location etc.... but you could also source a buckle yourself and go to who ever you want... if you have a preference Personally going for value and vintage feel and look ... I would start with Eric (Donerix)..... then I would also check out the sales section as these styles come up a lot...on various leather..
  13. As far as I know mate the 6154 has just the GPF buckle... ie not the GPF-Mod buckle GPF is just the flat buckle without engraving... This is the correct shape ... though its a GPF-Mod
  14. @ T... that is one sweet PAM mate.... obviously one of the prototypes Congrats
  15. I must admit mate... I really cant accept that you were scammed in any sense of the word by Andy... I have found him to be nothing but the most honest of guys .... I do not know enough about the C16s except they are a 7750 just like a Breiting C11 I think it is... but my first question would be.. Are there versions of the TAG C16 since I think these go back 30 years or so... regardless though... I am sure, now this has been posted... Andy will provide his side..(if thats the right word) of whats passed... Either way sorry to hear of your disappointment mate... but I am certain its not what you are suggesting.. I am still not sure why... given Andy's unarguably standing on this forum ... why this has been posted and most especially with the aspersions being made... surely this is an admin matter first and foremost...
  16. Mate thats what I was saying... ie one step forward two steps back... And I aint just talking about the CDG, dagger, Swan, Wheels etc remove the plates and you will see what I mean.. The ultimate 1:1 I heard was being made for the 127 and then to go out across all the reps... The 127 is by what I have heard going to be a real contender for best OTB

After listening that link.... me and the wife listened to all the other 'Danny Dumps' and some other similar links..... Amazed at what happens on some of these stations... Another good one was.... I think Danny dumps Amy ! My Mrs.... got really wound up about the 'How much.... ' quote..... The first thing out of her mouth.... but not in or between her lips !!! She has a boss for that
  18. I understood the new platinum plated CDG movements were from the H factory... and released in the 177M, 005M and 112M Arguably better but with most things rep... one step forward... two back....
  19. Thanks mate Not seen those before.... Thanks for sharing I wonder if anyone has bought one?
