I wonder if an Asian 7753 could be dropped into this case set? Would be a sweet upgrade to get the flush date wheel and mod the pusher at 10 to flick the date, as per gen.....

Ah OK thanks for the info, so there is not an internal problem that can cause this? As I have a new set of hands ready to install, but am wary of it not solving the problem

Yeah, it's a great shame, an accurate version I would buy in a heartbeat! Go to your local AD and hold the gen, you will realise PVD steel is not an option, you can hardly feel the weight of the gen!!
